The Defensive line now has a stronger personality with Hardy and Gregory, With a healthy Lee our LB trio will be in better shape. Someone in the secondary group has to step up and be the leader. This suck for Scandrick, but I feel we are in a way better shape across that front line, I see sacks coming.

Jones can take over soon enough. If Claiborne doesn't take him out again.

You do know when the ACL goes. It pops, and then it's just gone. You can also tell almost for certain by manipulating the lower leg on the spot. He's done for the year.

I would like to see white cover the slots... he looks the part, seems to stay on top of his receiver. Jones and Carr on the outside...
But I doubt it ends up this way.

The bigger concern is replacing one corner on this roster because this is not exactly something you can go pick up off the street. It is hard.

I have to admit I have not paid much attention to the fringe dwellers at corner in camp.

I have read Broaddus blurbs where some of the bottom dwellers were making waves.

Who is the one player who can move up?

Carr, Jones, Claiborne, White and Patmon are locks obviously. Doubt we keep 6 corners on the 53 now. We've typically had 4 or 5 on the 53 coming out of camp. Only reason we would have kept 6 before today would have been because Jones and White could play safety.

White has turned out to be a helluva pickup this offseason, particularly now.

Can we please just lock our players in a padded jail cell until week 1? But seriously we need to take it easy these next 2 weeks. Losing O-Scan is big... thankfully we have Byron Jones and Corey White.... and Mo returning from injury for what it's worth.

Mo gets his last shot to prove he was worth taking. If he can't, I look for Byron Jones to get the start. I don't see Dallas wanting to start White based on his play as a starter for NO, but he's probably been playing the best among all the corners.

Don't know where Patmon fits in at this point. I wouldn't think he's looked at as being in the top three at corner at the moment.

A player knows when an injury is significant. I expect that it will be a season ending injury. The only bright side in all of this is at least we have more depth at that position than in years past. I'll be praying for a speedy recovery for OScan.

Has there ever been a case of an expected ACL tear that turned out not to be an ACL tear? If so I can't remember one. He's done for the year.

I'm not as worried about the slot corner, but who replaces Scandrick on the outside. Mo? Everyone else is unproven or proven to be below average. Need that pass rush to cover up the secondary.

He is a leader and a good player
We do have much better depth than we have had. Mo will replace him outside and Patmon in the slot
Replacing his play is one thing, replacing his leadership is another
Gotta hope we've reached our limit on serious injuries
