Orlando Scandrick suspended first four games ***for Molly** Post #246

*** molly? MOLLY?! what is he 17? clown organization....top to bottom.

His girlfriend gave him a Molly. That's a clear message that she wants a good time.

Put yourself in that spot - keeping in mind you aren't in a test period for recreational substances. He is at fault for not knowing it fell under PED policy ... But the rest, I totally get it

Shows how naive I am. I thought Molly was the name of a girl in the title of a song.

I truly believe the bad element must coexist with the good so there can be balance. I do wish, though, that there were more guys on the Cowboys like Church and Witt.

It would not shock me if one or both smoked weed in the off-season

On the bright side, I wasn't expecting much from the defense the first four games anyway. By that time, we should have Scandrick, Lawrence, Spencer, and possibly Brent. And guys coming off serious injury, like Melton, should be less rusty. I guess the goal is to go 2-2 in the first four. Doesn't help that we play Seattle in week 6.

Good gawd almighty . I was wrong, this defense could be worse than last yrs. this season is starting to have a really bad smell to it.

this entire organization, top to bottom, from the owner, to the players, from the trainers to the stadium is a complete clown show. it's so tough remaining a loyal fan to these idiots. if it wasn't for the 90s cowboys and guys like haley, novachek, irvin, aikman, nate, e-will, norton...I would have been gone a longggg time ago. there is nothing endearing about the dallas cowboys on August 12, 2014. just your affiliation with them will get you laughs and stares while in public. can you blame them though? we are a complete joke and these idiots give the haters so much ammunition on a weekly basis.

Apparently he was. How else would have have gotten caught? Did he admit to it voluntarily? lol

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to fail multiple tests to get a suspension?

Not a recreational drug testing period. Only testing for PEDs in the off-season

I've searched this thread but I have yet to see the requisite "could Scandrick's suspension be a blessing" post that we so commonly get here

Just for you…

On the bright side, B.W. Webb makes the team, regains his mojo, and becomes the second coming of Orlando Scandrick! :D

That would be totally deflating. I guess anything is possible.

Yet it wouldn't bother you if they drank alcohol - both do. We've seen pictures of Written with a beer in Mexico and Church was out with Brent and Brown on that fateful night

I could be wrong, but I recall someone mentioning that it would be a positive that we possibly wouldn't have to pay Scandrick's bonus/salary for those 4 weeks, freeing up some extra cap space for whatever, heh.
