People act like we've been devastated here, but we're still way better off than the Niners. They're going to be down a ton of people when we play them.

If you belief that, you are probably saving up for Super Bowl tickets to see the Cowboys play the Broncos. At this stage I doubt we could compete with the Jags or even Cleveland. Or the Universe of Texas.

I'll tell you one thing, saying Scandrick taking molly in a pool somewhere is somehow linked to cartels infiltrating mining operations and then exporting precious metals to foreign markets takes guts. And don't get me started on the Vegas being funded by the Mob connection.

And nice dig at Robin Williams at the end. Classy!

He was continually in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. No, son, that was tragedy. You did the connections of what was stated, YOURSELF.

The early framework was that Scandrick abused non-performance drugs. That was proven false..so I'll just ignore all you pompously stated from that point.

But let's be up front first, you are as full of crap as a Thanksgiving Turkey in attempting to put down a legitimate posting by proclaiming honorable bravery with either the Cartel or the Mob...

This is the wrong board, if you continue with your tirade. The courteous route would have been to pm if you actually had an ethical or morale point you felt out of kilter.

No, that wasn't what occurred...but your posting was flying off the handle and half cocked at that.

You were merely trying to support your own anger...nope, you are wrong.

More issues are involved, and the US Security branches are having to work very hard to get a handle on huge cash flows being moved about banks in the US. That doesn't sit idly by with a lack of focus on the problem. But that isn't of immediate concern in this problem, but illegal use of drugs is. And that is still involves a subculture, whether Hispanic or NOT, and race isn't at issue.

Wonder why Vegas is now having to deal with solvency of FOUR Casinos now? Conducted under parameters of law, expenses are overtaking returns from the market. As that attraction deteriorates, the alternatives will be at a different level. But the attraction of a crowd is still an escape for venting personal pleasure. Abused, and the repurcussions are intense, on a personal level. That is why the tragedy of an actor who I had held in esteem, is very relevant.

If you really wish a venting, do a pm...or just shut the hell up on your present directions. I have a home address and you are welcome to arrive at my front door, anyting. And take that any way your heart desires...balls in your court now.

But for the record, what Orlando Scandrick did, was on par with a party level athlete...I don't have time for a cheat or arrogance in it's defense. Brent shows contrition, and I would take him in a fox hole in a minute.

How is he a cheat?

It is so tiresome explaining how a recreational drug falls under the PED policy

It is confusing. MDMA metabolizes to a banned substance but isn't specifically listed as banned under the PED policy

A player seeking the drug out wouldn't know that already? As well as have locked up the procedure of appeal prior to a real confrontation on issue? Sorry, I'm not buying the complete story of the devil made him do it.

I was born in the past, but not yesterday...

First, when on 'vacation' why is he purchasing a prescription drug for? And give a reasonable example that just doesn't ignore issue of intended outcome. I wonder why he just didn't use deer antlers?

I'm not buying the answer of no prescriptions are needed there.

I heard on the Radio today that even though what he took was a recreational drug not a PED that because he was tested by the PED tester he fall under that policy automatic 4 games. That also recreational stimulants even though they aren't used to enhance athletic performance are treated as PED. It went in further to discuss the NFL's stance on marihuana and the Gordon incident where it is science that the level he tested at could be measured from second hand smoke. That the NFL's standard of a hot hit is ridiculously higher than the governments. All in all that the NFL's drug policies are ineffective arbitrary and stupid. FWIW

Molly is a prescription drug? Fascinating. I'll have to ask my doctor to write one for me.

Locked up on appeal? He appealed and lost.

Are you even processing the information here or just spouting off?

The drug Molly is the crystal or powder form of MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxy-N-methylamphetamine), a chemical used in the street drug Ecstasy. Because it is purportedly free of adulterants, such as methamphetamine or caffeine, Molly is commonly touted as being a safer drug than Ecstasy.

Molly — short for "molecule" — has become the drug of choice for many concertgoers and festival attendees. It increases the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain, causing users to experience feelings of energy, euphoria and empathy toward others. Molly also distorts vision, hearing and sense of time.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) classifies molly as a Schedule I controlled substance, which means that the drug has a high potential for abuse and no accepted use in medical treatment. According to the DEA, Molly can cause confusion, anxiety, depression, paranoia, sleep problems and drug cravings. Molly also inhibits the body's ability to regulate temperature, resulting in hyperthermia, or elevated body temperature.

While Molly is sometimes considered a "pure" form of MDMA, it often contains other drugs. In recent months, the deaths of several young people have been linked to molly. But the toxicology reports for two of the deceased — Jeffrey Russ, 23, and Matthew Rybarczyk, 20, showed that Russ died from a fatal mix of MDMA and methylone. Rybarczyk also died from an overdose of methylone.

Methylone — a compound commonly found in another street drug, "bath salts" — has properties and side effects similar to MDMA and, according to law enforcement officials, is often sold under the name Molly. However, the toxicity of this drug may be higher than that of MDMA, and its role in the sudden cardiac death of at least one previously healthy youth is still being studied.

Good post. My first associated question is would cocaine be still testable in a sample that proved positive when tested, for 'Molly?' Or would that have been eliminated prior to the positive for a 'Molly?'

Really? The NFL had nothing to do with the CBA? Fascinating take

Which of the two sides do you think would be pushing for stricter punishments when it comes to potential crimes being committed? The NFL would love to able to protect "the shield" but the NFLPA traded certain concessions there for a smaller piece of the money pot.

I followed the train of comments, up to X's definitive posting...and used what was being presented. Reason? Because that is how a discussion progresses.

To be factual, actuall proof presented hasn't yet entered the definitive arena of what was and what was not involved, at least until further documentation is posted. Just for a starter. By what is presented up to this point, Mr. Clairvoyant, is not definitive yet.

The actual comment by Jerry, was that a suspension was in effect. And that stopped short of a declared and actually abused drug. Until you present such corroboration, that is open to a view.

Banned substance was enough for myself. I'm familiar with a wide spectrum of abused substances, due to my participation in that identification and resolution process. That isn't what I was approaching although.

If a girlfriend is being hid behind, I'm not a good enough 'ol boy to change an opinion to that he was unfortunate and sucked in.

If you have proof to substanciate a stance on what to now is a line of projection...bring it out.

But a non-prescription drug would move considerations into criminality...as he still is held accountable for standards on this side of a border crossing.

Adam Schefter reported that it was PEDs, not recreational or street drugs. Either way, this is absurd. 4 games for this versus 2 games for beating your fiancee unconscious. The NFL is a JOKE.

two totalyy different issues. the drug, from all reports is molly which is a street drug but because it is a stimulant it is also considered a ped. ped violations are covered under the cba. the rules are clear and there is little disrection. rice issues are not covered so clearly by the cba and the punishment is discretionary. can't compare the two at all

Don't know the details about how the program actually works.... but if he's been fighting the suspension since April, would the team know about it at that point? If so, why wouldn't they make a CB a higher priority in the draft?
