Here is what will happen to the body. The United States is treating Osama bin Laden's body in "accordance with Islamic practice," a White House official says.
Asked how bin Laden's body will be treated, a senior administration official told reporters on a conference call that "we are ensuring that is handled in accordance with Islamic practice and tradition."
CNN reports that it must be buried within 24 hours.

He personally may deserve nothing less. But the millions of people who follow his religious faith -- most of whom do not endorse his actions -- would still be greatly offended by that sort of treatment.

You treat him in the way you suggest and you have made a million more terrorists. This is how grown ups think. Take note.

I hope so. The man killed thousands of innocent men, women and children over the course of his miserable existence. He deserves no courtesy in death. I would suspect that most people across all races and religions would agree. I know plenty of muslims. Osama was no muslim, he was no "man of God". Nobody who believed in God and loving your fellow man could do what he did. He was a despicable waste of oxygen who deserves nothing but the title of "monster" and no matter what religion you support we should all be able to agree that he is not in a happy place right now.
