He personally may deserve nothing less. But the millions of people who follow his religious faith -- most of whom do not endorse his actions -- would still be greatly offended by that sort of treatment.

You treat him in the way you suggest and you have made a million more terrorists. This is how grown ups think. Take note.

The majority of Islam hates him just as much as the rest of us. You forget that he killed a lot of Muslims in his lifetime as well. True Muslims are not like him and not like the terrorists he supported.

As a christian, I would not be offended at all if Fred Phelps was used as a dart board after his death. Just because someone claims to believe in the same God as me doesnt mean I have any sympathy for them.

We'll never know, but knowing what I know from friends that are Special Forces, I can guarantee you that the "firefight" that the news keeps talking about wasn't much of a fight.

i dont blame them for shooting him if thats true, if nothing else, you dont know if he escapes somehow, how many people have that guy in their cross-hairs? it had to be done!
