If he’s so good why is here with a questionable role on an incentive deal and not starting somewhere else on a multi-year deal? You called him a swing and a solidifying starter in the same sentence. Those are opposite terms.

He will be the starting left guard
Assuming dez stay I think LB could be first pick then maybe a safety
Just not sure there will be day one starting quality at guard by 4th but we will see who slides

Apples and oranges. Once you’re drafted, where you got drafted doesn’t matter. Brady won the Super Bowl in his first shot as a starter and led the league in TDS in his 2nd. Fleming is in his 5th season with 20 starts under his belt and is on a low money incentive laden 1 year deal.

With the moves we've made in FA there is no reason we can't put together a decent o line we have other needs that need to be addressed before LG

I don't want to move Collins from RT. Maybe Collins progresses to the pro bowl next year there.

Gotta worry about camp injuries and all that. It's never perfect but I like the signing of Fleming especially at the price. From the film I've seen, he's better than Free ever was, he's only 25. Right kind of signing.

No way they draft OL first round this year. I have to believe it will be Ridley if he is still there or best LBer. Ridley would almost certainly mean Dez would be released and a couple more free agents would be able to be signed on Defense. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

This is my favorite addition that they've made. Even if he doesn't start, he's a big upgrade over the trainwrck we had at backup tackle last year. And that trainwreck went a long way Howard derailing the 2017 season. I credit the team for realizing that, and doing something about it.

And the finances, on this deal, and all they've signed so far, have been very good.

100% agree. Seems like a no-brainer to sign guys like this but in the past, it just hasn't been the case with this team. Did someone finally get a clue "somewhere?" ...we'll see.

I don't claim to be an expert,but MAN I just want to win again. I want a dominant team,balanced. I do not care how we do it.I care not about what round a guy comes from in the draft.. lets just kick *** and show the league we are back on top. No reason it cannot be done.

They're probably talking to Collins about G in case Fleming turns out to be a pretty good RT.

Hoping that's the case. Collins sandwiched between Tyron and Fred, with Martin at RG is probably nightmare fuel for opposing defenses.
