An 11 day window where no one was in that house?

They stole some items that you don't just walk away with too.

Seems a little convenient to me.

This is from the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

Stolen were three plasma televisions (62", 42" and 32"), two floor buffers, a wet/dry vacuum, an upright washer and dryer and a leather sofa valued at $17,550 combined. The perpetrator(s) entered the home through a back, side window, according to the police report, which indicated the "alarm was not working." There has been no arrest.

Surely the cops put out an APB on the speeding moving van fleeing the scene.

Um, no dogs protecting the house?

Who let the dogs out?

My "inside sources" tell me that Steven Wright is the one who broke in and took these items, but they also say that he replaced those items with exact replicas before leaving.

Some will get that, some will not.:laugh1:

I saw my roommate and said "Did you realize that everything in the house has been replaced with an exact replica?"

He said, "Do I know you?"

:lmao2:

That is some expensive stuff if that was everything stolen. Maybe it is the couch that brings it up that high because just looking at those items, they shouldn't be worth $17,550.

I imagine that 62" plasma TV wasn't cheap.

Who the heck steals a floor buffer????

And with all the people looking at that house, how do they come up with the timeframe that the break in occurred? Sometime between May 7 and May 18?? An 11 day span, you can't narrow it down any further there?? Someone is covering something up.

This whole thing sounds stupid. They had to have a crew to haul out a leather sofa and a washer/dryer. Did they bring furniture dollys?

based on his actions and reactions in interviews I would not be surprised if it was the DA, Poindexter. Watching his interviews I have a feeling he will get tied to this as well. Just my gut feeling.

IMO one of the funniest comedy tapes ever was his with that skit and his other zany ramblings.

My favorite was when he said he bought a blank tape and put it in his stereo and turned the volume up full blast. Then there was a knock on his door and it was his neighbor, and he was pissed...because he's a mime.

I was thinking the same thing.

Someone who is moving the "operations" of that house to a new location? Just a thought.

Two people can easily carry that stuff without a furniture dolly.

More then just a little I'd say. I'd also be interested in how it is that no search warrent was executed in order to exhume bodies of dogs because of the language used but people can come into a house, under investigation and move furniture, applicances and lord knows what else, without being detected. I'll admit that I've been a bit out of touch this last week so maybe I don't know the latest but it would seem to me that if bodies of dogs were found, that would be a pretty compelling statement of what has gone on in that house. Yet, it would seem that it is not considered important enough by law inforcement to insure no tampering is going on.

I guess I clearly don't get it.

I'd love to see a no holds barred Stephen Wright and Jack Handey quote cage match.

A compound full of dogs trained to fight and somebodies going to sneak in and still stuff off the walls?

OK, I call BS on this one.

most people realize the dogs are gone by now.

According to Poindexter, the burglary is not believed to have compromised the grounds in a wooded area behind the house, where investigators seized 66 dogs, mainly pit bulls, and other evidence in April that Poindexter said showed dogfighting occurred. Police were initially called to the property in a drug investigation involving a cousin of Vick. Another search warrant was executed after evidence of dogfighting was discovered.

Went to a drug investigation and some dog fighting broke out.

Pillars of society I tell ya. No adverse affect on society there...no sireee. Just a bunch of guys minding their own business, doing some pharmecutical commerce while watching dogs trained to rip out throats and tossing them in mass graves.....

Their property....right?.......................RIGHT?

Well, after this last episode, I'd say you can probably make that statement with a goodly amount of certainty.

Smart lawyer might even be able to make a case that things not only left the proporty but may have mysteriously appeared as well.

Two big guys. Like football players.

Two normal sized guys can accomplish this. I moved recently. I weigh 207 lbs. and had a 200 lb. person help me move a couch, a washer, and a dryer down two flights of stairs.
