OT: Dog fighting house robbed

heh - i would have thought they'd have been removed when the investigation started. just chiming in though - back out again.

You would have figured but I don't know one way or the other. I understood the warrant that was not served to be for that purpose but I don't know for sure.

Doesn't really matter now. They either have enough to get him or they don't.

Two normal sized guys can accomplish this. I moved recently. I weigh 207 lbs. and had a 200 lb. person help me move a couch, a washer, and a dryer down two flights of stairs.

By hand? Were the washer and dryer made out of plastic? I don't know why anyone would do that by hand, or how two guys could do it down two flights of stairs without some kind of mechanical assistance.

When I got my washer and dryer delivered up one flight of stairs, two huge guys brought it up on a dolly. Not saying they couldn't have carried it up by hand only, but it wouldn't have been easy and there's really no need.

I've moved a washing machine up two flights of stairs on my own. Wasn't easy and I won't do it again. I have moved washers and dryers with some help often. Too, often. My friends need to stop moving.

Or you need to develop back problems :D

I imagine that 62" plasma TV wasn't cheap.

Who the heck steals a floor buffer????

I figured that was the most expensive item. I looked some up and they were between $3500 and $4000. Just based on those items listed and using comparable prices on the internet it doesn't add up to $17,500 unless the couch was super expensive. That is a possibility.

peplaw, I have moved washers/dryers up two flights of stairs, and a refigerator up one flight of stairs with the help of one friend. Those things might look big but they are not that heavy.

Now, a couple of skinny desk sitting lawyers might not be able to do it, but, they have the money to hire someone like me to do it for them.

;)

And make them sign injury waivers before they begin. :D

I can't believe you ratted me out. I thought we was tight, bra. :banghead:

I recently moved three TV's as well. I'm not admitting to the floor buffers. That admission would damage my screet cred.

This has the DA and Sherrif's finger prints all over it!

They don't search the house. They don't push for the collection of evidence. The Feds want to take over but haven't yet. If the house was broken in to undetected, then I can imagine the dog fighting ring has been turned into a daycare center.

You might want to get someone to start your car tomorrow.

Could it be an inside job by family and friends. Sure. Could just as easily be two or more guys who heard the story on the tube and figured there would be some nice stuff in the house. They cased it out, no one was there, and they helped themselves to the most expensive stuff they could get out in a hurry and either use or pawn off. People steal stuff all the time. Sometimes just because they can. I've had things stolen that could only be used in a professional setting.

Not saying he's innocent or guilty. But this shows you how you get hung before the evidence is in. The guys house gets robbed and he gets crucified. Ole 'Ron Mexico' had nothing to do with it. Family yeah. But it's not his fault his family would rob him.

I don't think Vick was involved or this is any attempt at a cover up. I do think someone who is familiar with the place probably did the crime. Maybe trying to recoup losses from gambling on the dogs or something like that. I highly doubt it is just some random robbing.

they did say they didn't have enough evidence

:laugh2:

I'll give you that. I don't touch those things without a dolly. but then again I'm 5'8", 150 dripping wet.

I hired two big guys to do it, and they still used a dolly.

I was going to say must have been union using a dolly....however...being union would have required at least 6 guys....with a dolly.

Sorry but I was trying to make the point it wasn't Vick but he was still catching hell even though he was a victim of a crime.

Yeah, it was probably 'friends' who were just taking what they thought Vick owed them because they took the time to be 'friends' with him and he turned his back on them. /huge sarcasm mixed with a screwy misguided and distorted sense of humor turned off now.
