OU vs OSU

I am not dogging out OSU....they are one of two teams to beat Stoopes in Norman. OSU is always tough in Stillwater, and if you look at the last 4-5 games vs UT, they have all been tough. In fact OSU had halftime leads in most of those games, only for UT to come back and beat em.

Yeah that place is a hellhole if you're a Sooner or Longhorn.

I remember in 2000, our national title year, where the Cowboys dang near pulled off an upset and ruined our magical season.

yes, but i think they were voting on emotion last week after that impressive win over tech. unfortunately for us, they will be voting for the polls tomorrow within the next couple of hours, and it seems if your watchig espn, that they have completely forgot about everythign before 7:15 tonight. i think UT shoudl stay ahead of OU, and obviously you guys dont, i just want to state the facts, OU plays amazing offense, and average defense. UT plays great offense and above average defense, so i dont think you can go by the fact that OU scores a million points a game. its hard for me to argue past we beat you and you to argue past we beat who beat you, its insane, but its the system were stuck with.....:bang2:

Wow. I can't believe how you are really making OU to be a supreme team and don't even know it. You think its like some mini-Championship that you guys won by 10 points against us and want to fly planes and make national monuments out of the score.

BTW-beating TT by 38 points is what I call a beating-not 10 points.

I can't believe you are serious! Think how Boise State feels right now. Think about other teams and how they feel. This is college football. You don't go tugging on the BCS man and cry out, "P-p-please reconsider. We beat them earlier in the season by ten points!"

I hate to tell you but the season didn't end after that game. There are a lot of factors to consider other than ten points.

I LOVE the underdog... but i support a playoff... I've been clear on that for years...

Now... if you have issues with me with UT over OU... that's just a head to head thing...

And that's fine you have your own opinion and are sticking by it. You can state til you are blue in the face that you beat OU and I will stick with the fact that we dismantled the team that beat you. So this could be like the Hatfield and McCoys (Colt) forever and a day. Until things change, this is the way that it is. The coaches who vote on this quite handily had Oklahoma over Texas and felt that they are deserving to be above Texas. Its just like the good ol' Geography map.

And still, you fail to address the fact that OU's defense sucks. It's all about offense.

That's a pretty sad statement about how the BCS judges things. Let me say this again, OU has given up 90 points in three games. That's not the mark of a good team but yeah, it's all about the head to head, which really should be what it's all about.

Oh and I love how Texas hardly ever has to leave the state to play a game.

Honestly, how often do they actually leave the state to play? They play their biggest game in Dallas. They play a handful of games in Austin. Then you got Baylor, Texas Tech, and Texas AM.

And they usually play a team or two in the non conference schedule against a team from Texas, and that game is usually in Austin.

I wish OU could play 95% of it's schedule in the great state of Oklahoma. Must be nice.

Like a red-headed step-child? Oklahoma held the lead twice as long as Texas did. Texas didnt have a lead until late in the 3rd quarter. Texas was up by 3 with what, 4 minutes left?

The game was VERY close and if not for that long run Obueifjnhdhdhdjbdjsbdjd for Texas that was the result of several missed tackles it might have ended differently. To say either team was beaten badly is just stupid.
