So, if OU does indeed make the MNC and Texas gets offered an at-large BCS bid, I fully expect him to turn it down in favor of Texas Tech, since they did beat Texas and he has been harping on head to head as the reason his team should be playing in Kansas City next week.

Of course, he won't, because he's a hypocrite mand is only arguing head to head because it fits his argument at the moment. Much like the Texas fanbase.

You have to look at the body of work because there ISNT a playoff. There should be, but there isnt. And OU's body of work is more impressive than Texas'.

Here's what stinks about this whole thing.

If Mizzou actually wins (unlikely) against OU, Texas, or TT.....then the two that don't make it have an advantage over the one that actually makes it to the title game.

I think the same thing happened last year. Mizzou beat KU to win the Big 12 North. They go to the title game and get beat by OU. But it was KU that actually got the better bowl game.

I hate the way college football is run.

i am sure that Dallas has had nearly 45,000 in Sun Devil Stadium during the Triplet years. You hardly saw any red in the stands back then.

This has nothing to do with where I went to school. It has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that, using your logic, Tech should go in before Texas because Tech beat Texas. But wait, then OU should get in because they beat Tech. But wait, then Texas should get in because they beat OU.

Sun Devil Stadium seats 70,000. I went to one of those games a while back. Dallas had 25-35,000 tops.

I dont think you realize how amazing it would be for a team to have 45,000 fans in another teams stadium. I'd venture to say it's never happened in professional football.

You'd allow a lower ranked puke of a team that got completely destroyed in before you'd even admit that OU has a strong case and should be respected as the Big 12 South Champion.

I would make a case for my team, but if UT leap frogged OU, I would EXPECT IT since my team got beat by Texas Tech later in the season and OU simply looked better.

UT fans should honestly be saying that either team deserves it. That's how I feel, but I'm forced as a fan to keep my team's argument alive because so many UT fans are throwing what we've down out the window due to one single "double digit" victory.

If Texas goes to the conference title, I think most rational OU fans would understand. Many would cry, but nothing like the tearfest that would run through the state of Texas if OU gets the nod.

I can't wait. I'm gonna hear the whining all the way up here in Oklahoma.

Yep, when you finish off the season with two very impressive victories over very highly ranked opponents, I'd say I have a good case.

Especially when UT has pretty much sat around for the past month. Their last true tests exposed them enough to give the pollsters a thought, and that thought is, "Hey, this OU team sure does look a lot better than it did earlier on."

He was on ESPN radio alll week long crying over how we beat Oklahoma. Please don't forget about that. He was also on crying about it tonights game that didnt even have Texas PLAYING. I couldn't believe my blasted eyeballs.
