Rowdy;2451843 said:Wow. You've already had several servings of sour grapes but you continue to munch them down. You keep going back to that game. Wake up. Dallas beat the Giants 2x last year but couldn't do it in the playoffs. Oh but we should whine that we won two out of three with your logic.
Here are the facts: OU almost got ahead of Texas last week in the BCS. This week you played a non-ranked team at home. We went to a 12th ranked team's home field and beat them by 20. Therefore you can sit back and watch the Sooners on television next week.

Danny White;2451862 said:And Tech beat Texas and OU beat Tech.
And that's how we end up with a three way tie, so we go to the rules established by the league and OU ends up on top.

Here are the facts, Texas Beat OU. Those are the facts and they are undisputable.

Ive seen that excuse a few times the past couple of weeks from you.
What if's.
Not someplace I would hang my hat.
ABQCOWBOY;2451883 said:How on earth can any coach rank OU higher then Texas with this showing against OU, Texas' showing against TAM and the head to head? Tell me how that's right cause I don't see it.

Biggems;2451886 said:they arent what ifs.....i am saying this mess could have been avoided.....Texas blew their shot at a clean scenario with that dropped INT.....and now they have to politic and hope the voters will show them more love than OU....not a situation I would want to find myself in. when you fail to handle your business on the field, it can come back to bite you. Just like OU didnt handle their business in Dallas and TT didnt handle their business in Norman.

Im not one to give excuses. Games are over and behind us.
Its the hornfans who keep bringing it all up.
But-but-but-but
Let's rent a plane and fly it over the OU/OSU game for a while. Yeah - that'll get us in.
Its just excuses.

Biggems;2451893 said:I dont feel like looking it up, what is OUs record against TT in Lubbock since Leach has been there?
If I am not mistaken, TT beat OU in Lubbock last year. That is one tough place to play. IMO, the three toughest places to play in the Big 12 are Norman, Lubbock, and Austin, in that order.
ABQCOWBOY;2451883 said:Sure. I don't disagree. But the reality is that Tech is too far back to be considered in the discussion. Texas is currently ahead of OU in the rankings. The Coaches poll has OU rated higher but the BCS computer rankings has Texas higher. Coaches poll makes up 1/3 of the final ranking. How on earth can any coach rank OU higher then Texas with this showing against OU, Texas' showing against TAM and the head to head? Tell me how that's right cause I don't see it. If the circumstances were reversed, I'd say Texas has no business beating out OU because it would be the right thing IMO.
