You were implying it.

No, I dont think he sucks. I think hes a niche back who could be good in the right spots. I dont however believe he's someone we'd ever be able to count on to be productive getting 10+ touches a game.

I think yall who are constantly parading him as the uncovered gem are really, really projecting some best case scenario type hopium.

My knock is much more on your line of thinking than the player. Lol

I don't get the Vaughn stuff. I like the guy but i'd be more concerned with trying to get Luepke and Turpin involved in the offense then Vaughn. Turpin is who people think Vaughn is. He has elite speed.

Rico is not bad but like you said he's not great at anything and that's fine. But we can do better there.

Yeah definitely Turpin, and Luepke is actually pretty athletic at his size. I'd have gotten him involved already. It was nice to see Turpin used more toward the end of the year at least.

Deuce showed something today, they should try and design some plays for him, not play him like just another plug in back.
Some of this young guys have talent but coaching is really lacking, look at what other teams do with their third string players and free agents and some good play design

Our best back has 70 yards rushing on 17 carries this season with zero TDs.

I forgot Luepke was even on the team until today. He somehow got phased out of the offense. He easily could've got those reps they were giving Zeke.

Just a silly ran team.

He was drafted for publicity. Helping the team is just an afterthought to these people.
Yeah but he was a credible back in college. He was a damn good college player. I think his shortcomings is for his size he doesn't have the elite speed you'd expect from someone that size. If he had Turpin's speed he'd be a PROBLEM.

There's no way to successfully use Vaughn. He's limited in what he can do.
It's not do you want proof, it's how much proof do you want. There are miles of tape of how he can be used. All it takes is someone willing to put in the time and implement that into the offense.

It's not that he is limited. That's just being lazy and not making any effort. Create ways to get him in space. Create mismatches. Be innovative. It's really that simple. Unfortunately that's about 5 miles above the Cowboys coaching staff's head.

Who's successful in this NFL at his size? Everyone keeps saying just put him in space. If you have to "use a guy the right way" how good is he for your offense? That sounds like someone that's limited in the success they can have. Meanwhile I have guys like Luepke and Turpin who need more touches and have shown they can play in this league.
