Not the primary responsibility of a CB.Byron cant catch...never gets any interceptions, I'd let him walk

You'd pay Jones 20 mil/season? And let who walk?Awuzie is under contract through 2020. He's scheduled to count $1.3 million against the cap that year ... unless I'm missing something.
I'd re-sign Jones after this season, let Lewis take over the slot for Brown next year and then possibly re-sign Awuzie in 2021 depending on his play. (We could up both of those by a year and I'd be fine with it.) If we let Jones walk, Awuzie and Lewis could start, but it doesn't seem that the coaches want Lewis to do that. I see Brown getting a shot at starting for a team with weak corners so I can't see him returning for what we'd be willing to pay a third corner.
We do have one. He doesn't play much. No one really knows why. What looks like a problem might just be an opportunity. Got 3 CB's going into the season as a prove it season to get a new deal or worse case, showcase themselves for FA.
Got a secondary coach thought highly of so making the decision should be in good hands so I am going to wait to see how this all unfolds.
Here's the kicker, this isn't a secondary known for having one ball hawk and the skills so far, seem to be lacking. To the DC and SC, picks are great but merely one of the evaluations they make on the secondary. Our criticisms of these players, specifically B. Jones are not necessarily what they will use. For instance, does Jones' coverage give the DL and extra second to get to the QB? Does he cause the QB to throw to the WR that the Cowboys prefer to have the ball? Hell if I know but picks are not going to be the criteria for getting a new contract.

In light of this, its risky keeping Olumba on the practice squad, he could get plucked. So what do you guys see happening?
Byron Jones, Chido, and Anthony Brown will all become available.
Can we potentially bring back all 3?
Would we pick Chido and Brown over Byron or vice versa?
It's looking like Corner is going to be the top priority in the 2020 draft.
That's what I said.Didn't Michael Thomas have 0 catches against us last year??? Someone is going to pay a lot for a guy like that.
I think Byron is probably out of our price range.
When people get second chances sometimes they prove people wrong. Richard did that last year. If there were significant doubts about his ability he wouldn't have gotten consideration for head coaching jobs this offseason.
Who cares about the 2020 draft right now? We have our first game of the 2019 season this week. lolSo what do you guys see happening?

So Byron is in the top100 of the NFL , and he is a JAG ?
No way.
If Wilson and Woods develop at Safety, then you let B Jones walk and keep Awuzie and Brown. I like what is on the practice squad and the 2020 draft is loaded at CB.Let Byron walk
Sign Brown to a new deal
Draft a corner early in 2020
Start lewis chido and brown
He was set up for interviews, crappy coordinators around the league get these every year. Doesn't mean he was going to get a job.
From my understanding he was very close to being hired by the Dolphins and Jets. And "crappy" coordinates most certainly do not get these interviews.
The coach wishes he was a little bit taller. We do have one. He doesn't play much. No one really knows why.
Let Byron and AB walk.
Not the primary responsibility of a CB.
Walk where? over to the Skins camp?
Nah.
just pay them.
