Watkins got beat on BOTH TD's, and Roy gave up that long play to LJ Smith. If anything i say that Watkins was the disgrace. At least LJ didnt score. Roy let his man by, he wasnt paying attention. Watkins just flat out got beat!!!!

I think he's a good cover safety when matched up in the short to intermediate areas, especially when its TE's or running backs

but he was drafted as high as he was because he was a special playmaker in other ways, and this coaching staff continues to waste him (as they are doing with so many of the gifted players on this team) by almost never allowing him to do those things which made him a great, explosive playmaker

Newsflash, a lot of the so called experts picked us to lose this game, and we were in it right down to the end despite the QB playing like absolute garbage.

Keep posting in thread after thread about the pass rush, but the fact is we had McNabb moving on almost every play, and aside from 3 safety "mental holidays" as Vandy would put it he didn't really do much of anything.

That is part of my problem with Roy. I don't really believe in bringing the safety until you have to, cause the front 7 is getting beat. Coverage should be first, if you have a good front 7, for a safety. I just don't see this in Roy, and I really don't want to bring him up. I would rather our front 7 be good enough that we can keep the safeties back, which he isn't good at.
