MichaelWinicki;1078047 said:Hey, they both sucked. But I'm much more likely to give the rookie some leeway as opposed to the guy many on this board have suggested is the "Best" safety in football.

no names
Deep_Freeze;1078085 said:Dude, it was LJ's destiny to score that TD. He asked his genie the night before, it was his third wish.
SultanOfSix;1078083 said:Yeah, well, the only play I was disappointed with as far as Roy was concerned was the bomb that Troy kept blaming Roy for not really attempting to intercept the ball because he was in position to do so.
As far as the other two big plays that Watkins gave up (and I say that only because he was the one who seemed to have primary coverage on), was one where Roy wasn't even in the picture, and the second one, where he let LJ Smith go, no one even knows what his responsibilty was on that one because no one knows what defense was called.
Watkins was really bad. Roy was average at best today.
Deep_Freeze;1078090 said:Dude, you didn't ask me, I don't care about that subject.
I was just joking, but TEK did give you a name.
MichaelWinicki;1078094 said:I don't think Roy just received the huge contract to be "average". I expect more out of the guy and many times in coverage he's just like the TV show-- "lost".

MichaelWinicki;1078118 said:I guess you're proclaiming that Roy is a good coverage safety... Is that what you're saying?
SultanOfSix;1078123 said:No offense, but supposedly giving up one long play - which is a disputable notion in itself - isn't exactly "average".
dbair1967;1078128 said:would you say the same then for the HC?
he's the 2nd or 3rd highest paid coach in football and has been since he's been here...he just got a raise over the huge amount he was already getting despite two staright non playoff seasons
maybe Jones should start asking for a refund?
