Our slumping QB

Only if we lose. If we win, then the game wasn't significant in your eyes. You're a one trick pony. Same story.

You don't get anywhere in this league beating up on bad teams unless you have an easy schedule. Unfortunately, we don't have that luxury this year.

Brutal schedule. Again I ask, are confident in our defense to stop most of the teams I just listed?

Went 13-3 as the starter last year before we lost the playoff game to GB. So 13-4 as a starter entering this year.

Now after 3-3 start to his 2nd year, he's now 16-7 as a starter. Obviously it's time to draft his replacement. ;)

Let's be fair, they were against 4 pretty bad defenses. The rams aren't awful, but the last 2 have been around the same level as Dallas' defense.

It doesn't matter - suddenly, every time we face a team, they are considered top tier.

You point out who we are beating, and you get bombarded with excuses and ad-homs.

Classic goal post moving.

Nice try.

Quote me how I changed anything. When have I stated anywhere beating one good team suddenly is deserving of praise? If we beat the Skins next week and then lose 4-5 in a row, do you think I'm going to give a crap about that Skins win? Really?

No, I want to see consistent wins. So before people come in with "callouts" and mentioning me - a single win against the Skins next week = playoffs.

Do you see our schedule the next few weeks? I would say we probably have the toughest schedule in the league going forward. It's going to be that tough, with only the Chargers and Giants looking to be semi-winnable games.

So if we have a winning record with that tough schedule will you give the team credit?

We just beat the living crap out of a team we were supposed to beat the living crap out of, and won by 30 points.

So all the people poised to whine about how bad our QB and our team is this year have to find something to whine about.

If this game had been anything but the huge blowout it was, they'd be carping about that.

I'll give credit where it is due. But I fully believe we'll have to win a lot of shootouts to have an acceptable record and I don't see this defense improving. And if we manage to make it to the playoffs, you don't win Super Bowls with a defense like this.

So, the most we'll end up with is a late first round draft pick. This is simply not our year and I don't see this secondary getting better even next year unless we actually do something in FA outside of signing stop gaps and scrubs.

FYI, San Fran had the best Rush D in the NFL and all their games have come down to the last possession

Where are you seeing this at? Not saying you are wrong, but I'm seeing San Fran at 16th ranked.

EDIT: I'm guessing you're looking at YPC?

Typical Fan Reactions:

Commanders beat 49ers 26-24: Look out for Washington! This is a resilient team that knows how to pull out a close game against a desperate opponent!

Cowboys beat 49ers 40-10: Big deal. The 49ers are winless.

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

My take: The Cowboys are back. They are two plays shy if being a 5-1 team right now.

A large portion of games in the NFL come down to the last possession thanks to the parity going around, they were still a winless team. That was also before SF released their emotional leader on defense to tank

He still performed against them.
That's fair, but I'm still waiting to see how he performs against good to great defenses. He struggled with them last year as you would expect from a rookie, and he struggled mightily in the 1 game Dallas has played against a good to great defense this year.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys did today what the good teams do- assert their superiority against a rebuilding opponent.

If they had to sweat this one out, it would be a sign they are indeed in trouble. Instead, they proved to be closer to the 5-1 team they should be. At 3-3, now is the time to make a move. If they can get to, lets say, 5-4 with the tough schedule ahead, they can set themselves up for at least a run for a wildcard berth.
