You don't get anywhere in this league beating up on bad teams unless you have an easy schedule. Unfortunately, we don't have that luxury this year.

Brutal schedule. Again I ask, are confident in our defense to stop most of the teams I just listed?

Defense is improving. Lee comes back and ... magic! We play better. We're the healthiest/eligible that we've been all year defensively and we all know Lee is simply indispensable. Some of those teams don't look quite as scary moving forward. One game at a time. Will you be rooting for the Cowboys? Lol

Dak is hitting Dez on the 'in' routes which is what he has to do to negate the defensive schemes that were shutting down the run. He keeps hitting those the offense will be tough.

Well it was against 49ers qb Beathard, who came into the game with a 52.8 completion %.

True, but 265 yards rushing, 501 total yards, and six touchdowns is pretty impressive to me, regardless of the opponent. As they say, the guys on the other team get paid, too.

I was just referring to the Dak has to play better against good to great defenses. Not the 49ers d.

There isn't - we beat up a team with an awful defense (bad pass defense, bad run defense) and a bad offense now on their backup QB.

Again, maybe I'd celebrate if we had a cupcake schedule ahead. Except we don't. We have shown we can't beat good teams - we've lost all three. It just gets tougher from here.
if we switched QB's today with SF who wins?

We didn't "play better" when Lee was in. We got dominated by the Broncos.

Also, our run defense wasn't exactly what I call stout today.

With no fg kicker for Dallas and their qb behind center? 49ers with Dak, I say 49ers. 49ers put up 38 points vs the Rams with their starting qb (who is out).

The 49er QB who played today is their starter.

Same goes for the OL and Zeke. I'm still waiting to see how they perfrom against good to great defenses.
That's true as well, mainly for the new oline. Zeke didn't really have that problem last year other than the Giants games.

He had a couple of games earlier in the season where he didn't look comfortable and he was checking down a lot and letting passes sail when trying to throw downfield but obviously he's gotten better each game and the past few games or so he's looked like the same Dak we expected again if not even better. I think some people were a little more concerned early on then they needed to be. He wasn't looking great at times but it seemed like he'd figure it out sooner or later and he has.
