It should be interesting to see how this develops.

Austin plays the X

Crayton plays the Z

Surely they will start Austin after this game today. Nothing agaisnt Crayton. I think he is a good player, but Austin just has the upside and the big play ability.

So do they move Roy to Z? Does Austin know the Z position?

It should be interesting to see what happens.

Thoughts?

Let's get something straight. MILES ONLY HAD ONE DROP TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! And that was more of great play on the defense's part. The other 2 would've been great catches for sure but definitely not drops.

What about the great catch he made up the middle when Romo scrambled out of a sack on that 3rd down conversion?

Roy Williams sucks. Period

it is sad that our #1 highest paid WR is clearly our 4th biggest recieving playmaker

Roy Williams doesn't suck.

We have just done a terrible job of getting our receivers the ball. Bennett too.

I think Williams is playing good this year if you consider the opportunities hes been given.

So Austin didn't drop the TD pass from Romo in the second quarter? He had a hand on it but bobbled it....the defender was behind him about a yard.

The defender reached in and knocked it out.

He should've had it but the defender did knock it out.

It's still a third-rate unit, but it was great to see one person make big plays on the receiving end.

Are you talking about the one he grabbed and got knocked out of his hand, or the one that he barely got a hand on? The latter was not a drop.

I dont condone anything that Roy Williams stands for. If he wasn't 6'3 he wouldn't even be in the NFL.

No, he didn't. Go watch the highlights again. He had to reach out for it with one hand and tried to coral it after that but couldn't. It would've been a great catch but surely wasn't a drop. I think from the great catches he made with people around him, anybody could tell that he has very good hands.

With Jason Garrett coaching the offense, Miles remains the 3rd receiver.

If Miles would've dived for one of those passes in the end zone, he would've had a TD.

You can leave your feet Miles, it's OK.

I think he was referring to the latter. I'm hearing people he all these threads say he had some drops today and that couldn't be further from the truth. He had one drop, but the ball got knocked out of his hands (he did not bobble it and actually caught it cleanly) by the defender as he tried to bring it to his body. He should've gone down with the ball.

he put a hand on it but bobbled it, I can think of alot of WRs that make that catch. It really doesn't matter at this point because he walked away a hero today.

Then he wouldn't have gotten his feet in.

Roy should be demoted to #2 or possibly even #3.

We should can his malcontent behind at the end of the season. We don't need bad apples like him on the roster. We got rid of most of the garbage in TO/Tank/Pacman/Ellis - just one more to go.

I think Romo and Miles have finally turned a corner here - it looks like Romo may be developing that special kind of timing needed between a QB and WR to fit balls into tight spaces. I don't think Romo trusts RoyW and probably never will with his lackadaisical routes and lack of heart.
