Outside of Dez, we barely pose a threat passing wise

Unless Romo delivers a perfect ball to Williams and his chest, he is not catching it. He loves to use his body still. Evidence was there when he had to use his hands, and failed miserably.

How the hell did our scouts not see this?

He looks good at times, because Romo puts it in a spot that allows him to use his body, but what happens when he can't consistently do that?

He's a great athlete, yes he made a nice play, but we can't ignore the fact that one day him and his comfort of using his body to catch the ball, will come back to bite us in a huge game, where Dez is doubled, and we need a big play from Williams, where the ball might not be perfect, and his hands will be needed.

Dude, seriously.

I know you all love Terrence Williams, but the fact remains a fact. Show me more than 5+ highlights since he's been here where he has made great plays with his hands. Not his Body.

Oh my..

So you think this is a major issue?

And this in your mind negates his 5 TD's in 5 games?

I'm at a loss to see your concerns.

Yeah you're right OP.

Season over.

I'm going to crawl under the covers until March.

Thanks for the heads up.

Not yet, but you all will be saying this after next week when we visit Seattle. So enjoy the laughs now.

Man, well, never mind...TWill has been pretty darn good. He gets open, runs good routes. So what if you think he catches against his body...he catches it.
And all WR's have drops....

I said it yesterday, but IMO, Williams is a modern-day Tony Hill.

Neither were/are what I call "hands" catchers. Hill LOVED the ball in his bread basket. It's been a long, long time since he played, but as my favorite receiver was Drew, I do recall getting frustrated very often with Hill, because if it wasn't in the vicinity of his chest, I didn't think he was going to catch it.

I get the same feeling with Williams.

Now, I know many fans loved THill, and I liked him, but only as a support receiver. In other words, I never felt like he was an elite receiver.

Again it's very early in his career, but I get the same feelings with Williams. I know he works a lot with the jugs machine, and I get the feeling he wants to improve his hands, and perhaps he will. I'm just not confident it can happen.

I don't dislike him at all, and I think he will be a great 2nd receiver, and be a nice Robin to Dez's Batman, much like Hill to Pearson.

All that said, I do think he is a weapon and is a threat. I also think Beasley, Harris, and someday Street make for a good group.

How he catches it no big difference he is making the damn plays, Dez has had drops so has Witten so does everyone but simple fact it he is making a lot of big plays for the Cowboys including 5 TD so when you make the comment Dez is the only one who poses a threat it really is too ficken funny.

Someone who understands.

I'm glad you don't have blinders on.

So he dropped a pass which didn't hit him in the numbers. I can't think of one receiver who has never dropped a pass that didn't hit them straight in the numbers. This is nothing more than analysis paralysis. Williams has done so much more compared to that one dropped pass. This is a a non issue IMO.

No question is. What happens when he can't body catch? Have you seen consistent proof that he is reliable to haul it in if it's not near his chest?

It continues to be the same old whiners who win or lose come here to whine and complain. Fact is Williams is making plays even Irvin said he is much better than Harper. Harper did not like the comment Mike did not back off of it. Williams has shown himself to be a solid WR
