why is the bad guy bad? because he's losing stocks?

it plays into a larger part of the comic book series.

Mandarin (his main antagonist) is of middle eastern dissent and Stan Lee has crafted his comics around actual real world events (such as gulf war, Vietnam war and finally with today the middle eastern wars)

speakin of Brad i just watched troy on my already extinct hd-dvd player (hush i got it for free) and thats an amazing movie told the story of Achilles well imo and diane kruger is stunningly beautiful
