Overshown's surgery was successful

I have a feeling he will return to form. Kid just had knee surgery last season and showed no recovery slow down that most players have the next season. It really does suck however as with he and Micah you have two game wreckers

The second he got hurt it was always about when will be able to return.

Hopefully the coaches take the conservative approach with him.

If next years team isn't any better than this years team there is no reason for him to return for any number of games.
Dallas is knee deep in building a strong and talented teams. He had better remain vocal and involved.

2024 Liufau 3rd
2023 Overshown 3rd
2022 Clark 5th
2021 Cox 4th

Does that look like bargain bin shopping or a draft investment? Considering the Cowboys typically play a 2 LB set that's a pretty hefty investment into that position.
investments, with nothing to show for it yet. Jury is out on Liufau, but the list extends far beyond those 4. A 5th and a 4th is not investment, it's throwing darts at a square board. I guess it's good they didn't pick them in the 1st or 2nd I guess, so that's positive I suppose

The contract isn't hurting the team. The health of the qb could. The only way they win with Dak is having a dominant runner and a dominant defense. That's it.
You forgot: dominant OL, WR2 and WR3, depth at RB. Productive and consistent TE. Dominant D: DE, LB, CB. There is no one way solution to this mess, even you know this much

It's not like this injury just happened while he was walking onto the field. I'm not sure anyone could have come out from under that guy unharmed.
Yeah, I get it. I just hope he’s not the next. Sean Lee is all I’m saying because the guy could be a great football player. Don’t look any further than what I wrote.

I’m confused what do you mean about football player? He’s the definition of one. He’s the prototype aside from some unlucky injuries.
Football players, they’re not prima donnas, tough guys, I don’t think he’s a tough guy. I think he’s a talented guy. There’s a difference.

When the say it "went well" all that means is there were no complications. The real test comes next. If he takes the rehab seriously he will be back sooner than anyone might expect.

Rough crowd. He was just drafted 8 months ago.
I hear you...I try not to get excited when our guys show out against the weak sisters of the league. These next 3 games should give us a much better indication of things. If it wasn't for the bumbling franchise, the tough crowd would not be as pessimistic as many are

I would shut him down for 2025......why take a chance

Two BAD knee injuries in two years is not a good recipe for a successful career! The kid is a baller and once healthy again the Cowboys should look to trade him ASAP!

Most legs require 6-8 months recovery when reattached. Hopefully, his body won’t reject the new leg.

Young man just can’t catch a break. I hope this is his last injury.
