Overshown's surgery was successful

Has anyone ever said after surgery that X will never play again? You won't know for a good while whether the surgery was truly successful.

PS. Look at Diggs. How successful was that surgery now that we know he needs additional surgery. Trust me, no one knows how it will turn out for sometime. Until then we wait and watch and hope.

Diggs, Bland, LVE, Sean Lee, Overshown....I sense a pattern going on here. Am I missing anybody? Jaylon...others? Is this a sick joke or do we just like shopping the bargain bin with our LB's?

Chuck Howley.

When have you ever heard of a surgery on an athlete being unsuccessful?

Successful surgery and the subsequent recovery are mutually exclusive things.

A blast from the past...I think this may have started the streak of LB issues we've had. I think Ware fits into this category as well. This is 1 position. Now let's talk about QB contracts, lol

Can't there be specialties, even within Orthopedics?
I think it's not so much official specialties within specialties, but some do focus on one section of the body to work on and only take those kind of patients.

I'm pretty sure Sports teams only use the best of the best specialists though. I could be absolutely wrong and maybe there are specialties within specialties though.

Surgery is the easy part. Dude had a really messed up knee. It's possible he won't ever be the same. Only time will tell.
Don’t see how he can ever run the same after tearing all three ligaments.

That has to affect him mentally.

Too bad.

It's not the contract. It's the health of the qb that can not run anymore.

We have gaping holes at LB........ and as our luck would have it, it's a terrible draft for LBs. Lots of edge players though. So, if we don't do something stupid like draft a RB in round 1, we should get a dam good DE.

Sean Lee, Jaylon Smith, LVE, Demarion Overshown. You don’t even have to finish the rest of the statement. It’s crazy how cursed the Cowboys are at the linebacker spot.
Yeah, imagine having three of those names healthy and on the field at the same time. That's a linebacking corps (although Jaylon was damaged goods from day 1).

Jerry paid this QB who was never the same after ripping apart his leg...it's the contract that was given when it never should have been

2024 Liufau 3rd
2023 Overshown 3rd
2022 Clark 5th
2021 Cox 4th

Does that look like bargain bin shopping or a draft investment? Considering the Cowboys typically play a 2 LB set that's a pretty hefty investment into that position.

The contract isn't hurting the team. The health of the qb could. The only way they win with Dak is having a dominant runner and a dominant defense. That's it.

An update from the man himself. He says he got work done on both knees and shows both his knees are wrapped..? Anyone have info on this?
