I’ve never heard of an unsuccessful surgery. Hopefully he can return to the form we saw this season but I won’t be holding my breath. If he can’t play next season that will be 2 full years he’s missed. That’s going to hinder his development. We may have seen the last of Overshown. I hope it doesn’t end up “what could have been” with him because he had greatness written all over him.

Having both Overshown & Parsons on the field together was one of the few bright spots we got to see from the entire team this season. Wishing him the best of luck - he's already been through too much at his age/career stage.

The last time I read those words "successful," it was in regard to the worst 2nd rd pick in the history of worst 2nd rd picks in the Clear Eye View of the NFL..let's hope he isn't rushed back

Such a bummer with Overshown, he looked to be on an all-pro trajectory for future years. I hope he comes back as good as he's been and keeps his speed. That was a tough injury and unfortunately his leg just got stuck under a bunch of bodies.

I mean at this point the guy can get hurt at any time. It could be 2025 or 2026…..if he’s healthy enough to play I see no issue unless he can hurt himself more and that would be an issue. Hate it for him.

I’m confused what do you mean about football player? He’s the definition of one. He’s the prototype aside from some unlucky injuries.

Hopefully the coaches take the conservative approach with him.

If next years team isn't any better than this years team there is no reason for him to return for any number of games.

The team should be better with their top 3 picks added to the team. 1 should be a top running back and they should be adding a 2nd wr one way or another.

I agree…. Some players will always be injury prone and he is no exception

It's the kind of guys we like, the more you're an injured player the happier Jerry gets
