You better hope Trey Lance has the right stuff. Because that’s the only investment we are getting at QB anytime soon from jerruh.

What would it seriously take to get the #1 overall pick in the draft in April? Because I'm all for doing ANYTHING it takes....Lamb is not a true #1 and Parsons is a total flake. Neither is worth resigning at the money it will take...especially Parsons. Bring on Caleb Williams....I'm just now getting over Garrett fatigue, and Dak fatigue set in about 3 years ago....I am tired of feeling sickly. Step up to the plate Booger and do the right thing!!!
I don't think Parsons is a fake and Lamb can be a #1 with a QB who doesn't need him WIDE OPEN to throw the ball.

But yeah, for a chance to start the long and dreaded search into the unknown to get a top QB...yeah...b'bye Parson, Lamb or both.

No one knows how Williams and Maye will do in the NFL. Trevor Lawrence was the fifth highest rated QB to enter the NFL and he’s still a work in progress. This is his third season and he only has 5 TD passes and one 300 yard game. I’ve said it 100 times drafting a QB is a crapshoot. I’m glad you don’t run the team if you would be willing to trade possibly the greatest defensive player the Cowboys have ever had who’s on track to be in the first ballot Hall of Famer for a QB that could go bust. We’re not near bad enough at QB for me to do that.
Like i said when you guys supported Garrett for years using the same logic. There is no sure thing except that Dak and McCarthy will give you mediocrity. Ill take the “uncertainty” of Williams/Maye a thousand times before the “certainty” of mediocrity with the current lot

..I like Parsons alot. But he's going to command HUGE contract.

Right now, he doesn't look it. Since his podcast debut, the guy is withering away.

Its bizzare. Will see where it goes.

I would be willing to trade anyone if the price is right. But breaking up this team after 5 games is a bit premature. It would take more than a 1st round pick for me to trade Parsons. He is a game changer. You are not going to get another player like him in the draft and without him this defense is not very good. He is a proven game changer.
I would trade Parsons and our first round pick if it meant getting the 1st overall pick and Caleb Williams.

As good as parsons is, the fact remains that an elite QB is far more valuable than any other player on the field.

That being said, it will never happen.

I wouldn’t trade either Parsons OR Lamb for #1 pverall pick in next draft. Call me stupid - but both of them have justified their selections on the field. Picking QBs is a dicey proposition in any round. How many ‘next great QB’ top picks have we seen fail (often miserably) to live up to expectations?

I expect Parsons and Lamb will play at or near Pro Bowl levels for years to come. And THESE kinda guys make up a teams ‘core.’ Just make a concerted and reasonable effort to improve that QB position annually until Dallas ‘gets there.’

I don't think anyone picked DAL to go 17-0. Let's wait and see how the season unfolds, before we implode the team.

You guys? When did I ever support Garrett? I never wanted him as the HC in the first place. Lol

I’m not sure it would matter. Jerry and son still won’t know how to build a Championship caliber roster, draft an elite quarterback, or hire a real coach.

They have literally have done none of those things for the last quarter century with the exception of perhaps the Parcells hiring……other than that, nada

The only problem I have with that is you're trading known talent for unknown talent. Caleb Williams could suck.

Don't forget, when Parcells was hired, that was still around the time Jerry was actively trying to win a championship. Around 2012 is when his direction shifted.

Another fan that wants to trade our best receiver, and one of the best defensive players in the entire game for a roll of the dice on a QB. Carolina practically did that very thing except for trading a great defensive player and look how it’s ended up for them so far. I’m glad some of you don’t run the team. Lol
Yeah, mediocrity and wasting careers of great players is how we roll, three decades running. Thank goodness Jerry runs this team.

**plays 1 game without absolutely demolishing the opposing offense**

“He’s withering away”

I mean come on, I didn’t like that we lost last week either but this place needs to get a grip.

If we had a true QB that doesn't choke and can adequately read the field, Lamb might be a true number one.
