Two for sure and then some other pick or picks. Fans here think he’s trash since he didn’t get a sack against a pro bowl tackle with help and a QB getting rid of the ball quickly. Around the league he’s considered a stud and on a rookie contract he’d bring a tonParsons would go for 3 first round picks on a rookie contract you guys are insane lol
See the Hershel Walker trade. Why do people think getting rid of the best player on the team is gonna make you better?
Jerry is not winning a Super Bowl with Dak as their quarterback.Jerry turned 81 today.
He's not blowing this team up and essentially starting over just to appease a few fans.
I've never heard anyone here say he's a JAG. Who said that so we can slap him upside the head. LolI find it remarkable the Parsons' is being talked about as if he was some kind of JAG because the Cowboys lost to SF, as if it was his fault alone. The 49ers had a game plan to take Parsons out of the game, but it is one game. There is not one single player in the HoF who did not have a bad game once in a while. Parsons is a future HoF player if continues to play like he has. Some fans are just never satisfied.
The problem is not Parsons. The problem is the rest of the team that does not step up when Parsons is getting double and triple teamed.
And frankly, Quinn deserves a lot of the blame too, for not adjusting to what SF was doing. He did not protect his own player.
Walker wasn’t the player Micah is. The position from best to avg is a yard or so per carry. The edge position is the heart of the defense.See the Hershel Walker trade.
Ya Caleb looked pretty pedestrian on Saturday against the IrishNo college QB is a sure thing. There is a risk with every pick in the draft. I've watched Williams play and he has some flaws in his game too. The leap from college to the NFL is huge. Some guys do not have everything it takes to win in the NFL.
But but...Ryan Leaf......etc....etc. The Church of Dak reminds me of the biblical parable of the the servants who were given talents. They are like the guy who buried his talents in the ground because he was too scared to risk failure. Same mentality. Oh we have Dak who is good enough to beat up on the bad teams and get us to that mid to late first round pick but never quite good enough to actually get us to a title game. But don't you dare get rid of him because we might end up not picking someone who does not pan out. That mentality is why you see teams like the Eagles and 49-ers moving past the Cowboys - loser mentality by the owner who is more worried about preserving the brand name based on success from the 90's.CJ Stroud for the Texans looks like the real deal. Would you rather be us who's ceiling is the divisional playoff game or a team like the Texans with a good rookie QB and who knows how far they can go in a couple of years?
The QB position is the heart of the team and we don’t have one.Walker wasn’t the player Micah is. The position from best to avg is a yard or so per carry. The edge position is the heart of the defense.
People are going to kill me for saying this but he looks like Dak to me, with maybe a better arm and a little more mobility.Ya Caleb looked pretty pedestrian on Saturday against the Irish
It’s hard telling what your gonna get when you go after a college qbPeople are going to kill me for saying this but he looks like Dak to me, with maybe a better arm and a little more mobility.
But you aren’t talking about a proven QB but an unproven prospect at the position that probably has the highest bust rate in football. I could see the logic, though those 2 is still too high a price, of a proven QBThe QB position is the heart of the team and we don’t have one.
Why, we running low on peanuts?Package Dak and Lamb
Problem is, we'd have to do it now, and Jerry refuses to ever give up on a season, no matter how bad we are.Depends on what we could get. Parsons would fetch us 2 first rounders and more. CeeDee is probably worth a first and a 3rd. We have to keep shuffling and moving until we hit on a combination that gets us to a Super Bowl. That said , I’d keep parsons and trade lamb.
