I would trade Parsons and our first round pick if it meant getting the 1st overall pick and Caleb Williams.

As good as parsons is, the fact remains that an elite QB is far more valuable than any other player on the field.

That being said, it will never happen.
No college QB is a sure thing. There is a risk with every pick in the draft. I've watched Williams play and he has some flaws in his game too. The leap from college to the NFL is huge. Some guys do not have everything it takes to win in the NFL.

How did he change the 3 games against the 49ers or other games like the Broncos a few years ago or the Cardinals this year? Did see the Sounds from the Sidelines a few games ago? He looks different. Plus talking crap about a team who handed us our *** and giving them MORE bulletin board material? If a team offers a Hershel Walker type trade for him, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Hell even less I'd still do it.
I find it remarkable the Parsons' is being talked about as if he was some kind of JAG because the Cowboys lost to SF, as if it was his fault alone. The 49ers had a game plan to take Parsons out of the game, but it is one game. There is not one single player in the HoF who did not have a bad game once in a while. Parsons is a future HoF player if continues to play like he has. Some fans are just never satisfied.

The problem is not Parsons. The problem is the rest of the team that does not step up when Parsons is getting double and triple teamed.

And frankly, Quinn deserves a lot of the blame too, for not adjusting to what SF was doing. He did not protect his own player.

5 games into the season. Sheer folly to even entertain the thread request.
Is that one really bad loss Sunday night warped some Cowboys fans enough that 2023 is a lost cause in their minds?
CZers: let's see how the Cowboys play over the next month - this upcoming Monday night through week 11.
An equal number of games {5) to judge improvement for the parts of the team that are currently underperforming.

What would it seriously take to get the #1 overall pick in the draft in April? Because I'm all for doing ANYTHING it takes....Lamb is not a true #1 and Parsons is a total flake. Neither is worth resigning at the money it will take...especially Parsons. Bring on Caleb Williams....I'm just now getting over Garrett fatigue, and Dak fatigue set in about 3 years ago....I am tired of feeling sickly. Step up to the plate Booger and do the right thing!!!
I don't see a QB being taken that high in next year's draft. Lots of good QB prospects can be found in the 2nd-3rd rounds. Make the scouts earn their money.

I guarantee Bill Belichick would’ve traded both of them for first round picks before we had to pay them. But we’re talking Jerry remember

He wasn't a game changer in two games out of 5 so far this season...
Sadly , one can make an argument that Egals rookie Jaylen Carter has been just as effective as Parsons has been this season…….a dam rookie

well jerry wont trade parsons or lamb lol, so dream on.
he probably isnt interested in caleb or any other qb, as he has Dak , we like our guys lol.
I think trading lamb might be a good deal as he isnt worth the $ they will have to pay him.
Parsons is worth it but the cowboys dont utilize him properly.

Again it all comes back to jerry and how he runs the team, the coaches he hires etc etc. He is his own worst enemy .
Jerry is more suited to selling used cars, but here he is running a nfl team lol.

OU fan here.

Caleb Williams will be a bust.

He's Dak with a slightly better arm. Slightly.

Just think if the 42-10 loss to the 49ers happened two weeks ago, and the 38-3 win against the Patriots was last Sunday, would these threads even exist?

I know the San Fran game was bad but a lot of fans are too reactionary. Just like the players we need to look big picture and not be prisoners of the moment.

No one knows how Williams and Maye will do in the NFL. Trevor Lawrence was the fifth highest rated QB to enter the NFL and he’s still a work in progress. This is his third season and he only has 5 TD passes and one 300 yard game. I’ve said it 100 times drafting a QB is a crapshoot. I’m glad you don’t run the team if you would be willing to trade possibly the greatest defensive player the Cowboys have ever had who’s on track to be in the first ballot Hall of Famer for a QB that could go bust. We’re not near bad enough at QB for me to do that.
Does Parsons feast off bad teams though? 0 sacks in 3 games against the 49ers for his career.

Until he takes over a playoff game, multiple actually, he isn't Lawrence Taylor.

He’s still a great player, possibly the top defensive player in the entire league. Great teams aren’t going to allow one player to wreck a game. Go add up the sacks from our other defensive players against the 49ers the past three seasons. Like I said, I’m not trading him and other picks to draft a QB that could go bust.
