One man's opinion from a franchise that has no interest in signing their QB to a contract of his terms, so how is this a failure? The failure will be if Jerry caves to Dak's demands. A contract in the Cousins or Goff mould is what's fitting, and this clearly will not suffice for team Dak, and Jerry realizes it

Love's already shown enough to warrant this deal. This isn't a Jalen Hurts situation. He's already got the pre-snap and post-snap process of a vet, and has All-Pro physical ability.

You’re missing the point. The failure isn’t signing Dak. The failure is doing nothing and planning for life after Dak. They can potentially lose an all pro for a 3rd comp pick. It’s monumentally stupid.

Dallas is doing the right thing.

Have Prescott prove this year he is worthy of continuing being the starting QB for Dallas.

If he has a great year and Dallas wins then he could choose to stay with Dallas or hit free agency.

If it plays out like last year Dallas should let Prescott go into free agency and select the next QB.

Not signing Prescott is actually good for Dallas. It let's things play out without having to commit large sums of money, but more importantly years, if things don't work out.

The organization should not listen to the noise from the outside.

It’s moronic because the reason Dak doesn’t have more success is in part he hasn’t been good enough to win with the teams Jerry has built lol.

You, nor anyone else here, know what Dak would settle for. No friggin clue. Just noise.
My guess is that Dak doesn't know what he would settle for.
If Jerry plays hardball Dak will have a big choice to make.
He won't get the coddling he gets from the Cowboys anywhere else. A move to another team is likely a move closer to retirement.

Well it seems Jerry has plan B and his name is Lance...we may not agree with this but the plan was put into place when we made the trade for him, and seeing the number of young QB's leading their teams Jerry wants a piece of that. Nobody, and I mean nobody saw Love turning into what he did last year, and the old man could be banking on lightening striking twice.....with the makeup of this team being what it is, it makes zero sense to give this QB the contract he wants, and yeah, we are in this situation with him because of the failure of ownership 4 years ago

Dak will probably ask for 57 million. Theres no way he thinks he can ask for 60 million. I still dont want him
Well if Love just got 55M per year, Dak better forget matching that because Love kicked Dak's tail and Dak went Wee Wee Wee all the way home.

But look how stupid this plan is….Lance doesn’t have a deal either lol. His plan is for a quarterback who 49ers gave up on after trading multiple first rounders for just to snag a 4th rounder for. A guy who couldn’t perform in the most qb friendly offense in the league……and he’s not under contract. This doesn’t sound stupid to you?
