Green Bay Packers
Look for the Green Bay Packers to return to the NFC playoffs for the first time since 2004. Under second-year head coach Mike McCarthy, the Packers are coming off a four-game winning streak to end the 2006 season. Brett Favre has returned to lead an offense that has a solid line and Pro Bowl receiver Donald Driver.
The Packers' defense made big improvement over the second half of last season, and GM Ted Thompson bolstered the line by selecting DT Justin Harrell with the team's top pick in the recent NFL draft.

This guy has brought up good points about trends(the 4 game streak to end the season) and Brett Favre. They do correlate to the future of the Packers.
Let's look at that a little closer
Year --QB rating
1992--85.30
1993--72.19
1994--90.73
1995--99.55
1996--95.84
1997--92.62
1998--87.78
1999--74.71
2000--78.03
2001--94.08
2002--85.55
2003--90.38
2004--92.42
2005--70.87
2006--72.67
I see a definite trend there in Favre's performance.
How about just 2006?
Games 1-4
6 TDs 5 INTs 75.64 QB rating
Games 5-8
5 TDs 2 INTs 82.36 QB rating
Games 9-12
4 TDs 5 INTs 68.15 QB rating
Games 13-16
3 TDs 6 INTs 64.89 QB rating
I see a definite trend there as well. Anyone should easily see from those numbers what the future of Favre and the Packers will be in 2007.
