Packers release Bennett

Bennett family. Talented players, but they are too toxic/derisive for me to want them on my team. No thanks.

That's exactly my point.

Due to his lack of maturity he comes off to me like someone who would also be petty and hold grudges.

Let's not act like MB didn't do a 30 for 30 and say on camera he hated JW. Starts at 17:10

Revenge? Poetic justice?

Jason Witten never did anything to Bennett. There would be no poetic justice to Witten losing a starting spot to Bennett. Witten didn't wrong anyone. Bennett was very immature when his NFL career began. Considering no team really does much to keep him on their squad shows his maturity really hasn't improved too much.

wasted career. He COULD have been as good as there was in the league IF he had the drive and discipline. Something that Jason has in spades- probably another reason MB hated him.

My thoughts exactly. The guy is talented but is not a professional. Pass

The funny thing about this is that the self-proclaimed-better-than-Jason-Witten player came into the league after Witten and is leaving the league before Witten retires. :D

How bad did the packers front office and staff botch this.

They let cook go and he looks great in Oakland and gave Bennett 21 million dollars.

Now they cut him after 8 games and have to eat the money.

This is the exact kind of thing I was told on this board two weeks ago teams like Green Bay didn’t do. Specifically Green Bay didn’t sign guys and release them like Dallas did with Thornton, Carroll and Moore.

Weird huh. They completely screwed this up
They don’t have to eat the money from the looks of it. He fail to disclose information so they don’t have to pay the rest of the contract and should be able to go after what they already paid him if they choose to go that route

But that was the original question I asked you in which you gave that lame response
Look, if I were a GM, which i'm not, I would want nothing to do with either of them for the reasons stated. Legit reasons. I don't know any of them personally. Im just a fan on a message board. Y U COME AFTER ME?

that sounds like a PFT speculation and will take a lot of effort to prove.

Either way cook looks great in oakland.

His personality is terrible, should just retire.
Being a space cadet is not the problem. There are plenty of weirdos that make it in this league and have long careers.

But it as clear now as it was when he was a rookie. He simply does not care about football.

He stands to lose a lot of money if he retires as the Packers could come after his bonus.

But maybe his side gig of writing comic books and children's books is enough for him.

YEAH.

VERY BIG GRIN

then a chuckle

then a belly laugh

He has said some unreasonable stuff about Witten who is a team leader
I'm not ruining the chemistry by bringing in this idiot
No thx
