Packers release Bennett

I really don't like him..

But..

He fits our team perfectly..I'd be willing to bring him back

::ducks for cover::

Williams is fine, wasn't on the injury report.
Well aren't you a bearer of awesome news, Zebra! Good to hear! I saw he practiced, but I've also heard he's been suffering through this injury all season.

Say what you want about Bennett (and yes, a reunion with Witten would be awkward), but when he buys in, he's a top-15 TE. He bought in to the Pats last year and did well. I'm sure losing ARod for the season maligned him. The Packers are trash, now.

He needs to go play with Big Ben, Brees, or Russell Wilson. Those are the remaining Super Bowl-winning QBs he hasn't played for yet

They are saying it was an unreported condition, whatever that means...so some sort of injury issue.

We need to start calling him the rubber band man, that ankle just snaps back.

Here, he would have to accept the second tight end role where he's more of a blocker than a receiver until Witten is gone. I can't see him doing that.

If he could without complaining, he's a more powerful blocker than Hanna and Swaim. He's got too big of a head, though, to only be targeted a couple of times a game.
