Pacman wants to be Cowboy

I agree. But if Dallas could somehow get him for a Tank Johnson type of deal, I don't see what it could hurt. If he screws up, you cut him and you don't even feel the cap hit.

This is true, it would make our defensive backfield exceptional and would probably cure a lot of Roy's problems. If we could get Larry Allen as a "beat his *** when he gets out of line coach" he might be ok.

I am a Purdue alum and homer and I will be the first to admit that it is likely almost every CB in the NFL is better than Jacques Reeves. I would love Pacman's talent just not the mental problems.
Perfect

I like Jones as a playmaker on someone else's team screwing it up for a team I root against.

I have zero interest in him being a Cowboy. In some ways bringing in T.O. and Tank made me feel a bit sheepish, being that I used to hate T.O. and Tank's situation was a source of ridicule. I could never root for another team if the Cowboys signed Ted Bundy or whoever else, but... please... in character terms? Egg on face quotient?

Adam Jones as a Cowboy would take the cake.

Pacman isn't going to cost Dallas anything..

Jerry will structure his contract in such a way that it will be incentive-laden. If Pacman screws up, Dallas will release him without any harm.
Yup! That's the way to look at this. Short-leash with no room for error or you are out. No major cap space cost, etc. We've heard all this belly-aching before about signing players w/ issues, yada, yada....."The sky's falling, the sky's falling" then we end up buying their jersey and rooting for him. I would love to see what Pacman can do for our secondary. The ball is in the Commish's court, but if he does allow Pacman back.....make it so Jerry.....

SO by your scenario Nate Jones would not have made the roster. Would you actually have missed Nate Jones?
Like the pimple on my butt.....:laugh2:

I don't understand how some are comparing Tank Johnson as a problem to Pac-Man Jones as a problem. It's not like comparing apples to apples. Or even apples to oranges.

It's like comparing oranges to giant pumpkins.

Oh please, before we signed Tank, this was the same type of venom thrown against us signing him. Hell, people were blaming Tank for the DEATH of his friend and bodyguard. Let me repeat, the DEATH of someone. Remember that?

Pacman hasn't even been reinstated by the Commish and at his current rate never will be.
