If Pacman had to become a Cowboy I would support him 100%, he's a very good player so the qualities he would bring are not in question, it's how long can he stay out of trouble to use his football ability.

He will come cheap, he probably realizes that he does not any chances left (like Tank), he will probably want to prove himself to everyone that he has learned his lesson, he is a good corner, and a good punt returner.

We are already a 13-3 team. Not some .500 team, so we must be somewhat good.

Its a low risk high reward with this guy. If he does well, he makes us better, if not, we dump him and we stick with what we got. Which isn't that bad.

Oh my.

Oh my.

I'd give that a definite....maybe?

If he is willing to sign a minimum contract deal.

If we could get that, I could see them taking him because they could use a young cornerback with return skills. But, given his past history it has to be a similar deal as to what Tank Johnson signed.

The Titans were statistically better against the pass this last year without Pacman than in 2006, his best season.

2006
T 13th in INTs
25th in QB rating
27th in passing yards allowed

2007
T 2nd in INTs
4th in QB rating
10th in passing yards allowed

Obviously there are other factors involved, but it's still kind of funny. I guess it's his punt return ability that has people foaming at the mouth.

Jerry already won the TO and Tank gamble, so far, so it's not inconceivable in my mind that Jerry would pursue this

the only question is how much Tennessee would want in compensation, if they are open to dealing him at all

Cowboys should bring pacman jones for a workout once he is cleared by Titans organization and the Commissioner!

We surely need all the DB help we can get especially with our secondary being suspect for the exception of PRO BOWL CB TERENCE NEWMAN!

Everyone deserves a second chance just like TO, T. Johnson, so don't hate on the guy!

Pacman has some skill in the kickoff/return game and an instant upgrade at CB!

Imagine Pacman on side and Newman on the other! Too much is what i got to say!

People do change, sometimes......

Here is a rap sheet look at all of Pacman’s brushes with the law since joining the NFL’s Tennessee Titans:
pacman_jones.jpg
July 13, 2005
- Arrested and charged with assault and felony vandalism after a nightclub altercation. This began Pacman Jones NFL rap sheet. He already had a lengthy one from high school and college.
September 5, 2005- Adam was invited to attend the Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. Jones went off on a verbal tirade while being told to wait for his car after the event. He then refused to tip the valet service.
October 2005- State of West Virginia filed a petition stating that Jones had not been contacting his probation officer and that he had not reported his July 2005 arrest. The judge extended the probation for just 90 days.
March 23, 2006- Charged with marijuana possession in Fayetteville, Georgia. He went on to claim that he knew how to beat the NFL’s drug test.
August 25, 2006- Arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after being ordered by the cops to leave a Murfreesboro night club several times. Jones claimed a woman stole his wallet. The woman claimed that Jones spat on her. The judge in the case gave Pacman six months probation and told him to stay away from the club.
October 26, 2006- Jones was issued a citation for misdemeanor assault after a female student from Tennessee State University claimed that Jones spit in her face at a Nashville night club.
Feburary 19, 2007- The facts are disputed and no charges have been made yet, but Jones was in the middle of a fight and shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas that left one man paralyzed and two more wounded. The fight broke out after Jones showered strippers on stage with $81,000 dollars. The club owner claims Jones was beating a strippers head against the bar while claiming to kill one of the club’s employees.
January 3, 2008- Pacman is accused of punching Wanda S. Jackson in the face at an Atlanta strip club called the Body Tap Strip Club. Jackson says Jones reached over the counter and sucker punched her in her left eye.
The above time line doesn’t include his sentence of one year in prison for a bar fight in Morgantown, West Virginia while in college. The sentence was later suspended in exchange for two years of probation (because he is a really good football player).

Adam Jones in Dallas???

Well, the last time I said, "When Hell Freezes Over!", it was when there was talk of Terrell Owens coming to Big D. Since then, Satan's been figure skating all over Hades for, like, two years now.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Two different types of people.

One was guilty of not controlling his emotions and tongue.

The other is guilty of outright THUG behavior.

That and he's likely better than Jacques Reeves.

I am a Purdue alum and homer and I will be the first to admit that it is likely almost every CB in the NFL is better than Jacques Reeves. I would love Pacman's talent just not the mental problems.

One day, I'll finally come to the realization that I cannot make an innocent comment about Terrell Owens. :banghead:

I agree. But if Dallas could somehow get him for a Tank Johnson type of deal, I don't see what it could hurt. If he screws up, you cut him and you don't even feel the cap hit.
