Pacman wants to be Cowboy

I've got mixed emotions about the Pac Man. He's a great corner but he brings so much baggage. When we signed TO I was onboard with that decision 100% from the beginning but Pac Man is different. TO may have had his problems in the past but he was never involved with strip club shootings and stuff like that.

This is like a deal with the devil. If he was out there instead of reeves last Sunday .... and think back to the pat game this year .. if we had one corner, someone we could trust on Welker ....

But can we sell the soul of the franchise to accept this abomination of all that is pure in football into our care for his services?

Can we trust that he will not get into trouble during the season? Losing players to injury is always a risk but with Pacman you run the double risk, injury or another year suspension and in the mean time you’re stuck with little to choose from in the middle of a season. If Dallas goes out and gets a CB at least get one who can be trusted.

All I got to say is he would be a great compliment to Newman and we would no longer have Fair Catch Crayton back on Punt returns......off the field.....meh...its risk vs reward. For the right price the risk would be right.

:lmao2: 'Getcha strippers ready, getcha parole officers ready, getcha rehab facility ready...................getcha mental health professionals ready......anyone else??????? It ain't happenin' IMO. That guy is poison.

True. TO had issues but at least it has not been legal issues.

Are they gonna hire Ron "The Truth" Killings to keep him out of trouble?

Not if he screws us in the middle of the year. At that stage it is not just about money it is about being without a critical player and no way of finding an adequate replacement

The thing that sucks is PacMan the player is a PERFECT fit for what we need. Great corner plus a top 5 punt returner. It's ashame he has such off the field issues because what he does on the field we need BADLY...

Sure and then the next thing you know Keith Davis will get shot by one of Pacmans buddies. :laugh2:

We'd just need to add a shooting range, keep Tank out of trouble too.

The guy is physically a freak of nature. To have him opposite of Terrence Newman would be... PSYCHOTIC.

The question is, can he become more of a model player and stay out of trouble. He hasn't shown to be very smart. It's one thing to say, it's another to actually do it.

Code:
Newman Ware Spears Ratliff Canty Ellis/Spencer Pacman

                       Ayodele James

Reggie Smith(CB/S - OU) Ken Hamlin

That would be a nasty defense. Especially, if we had someone better than Ayodele at inside linebacker.

Well at least Tank has shown an effort when he sold off all of his guns.

Or by Pacman himself!

I am not familiar with Pacman's recent run in with the law, so I can't and won't pass judgement.

The NFL is a business. Jerry Jones is in the business of making money and to the best of his abilities, trying to field a great product.

Adam Jones would be a definate upgrade over the unknowns we have at Cornerback in Dallas.

Dallas has also been a place of sanctuary, where guys like Keyshawn Johnson, Tank Jonhnson and Terrell Owens were able to seemingly turn over a new leaf, at least in the eyes of fans who viewed their acquisition with a questionable smirk.

Does values and ethics have a place in Pro Football? Yep, they sure do. However, if as GM Jerry Jones can reach out to Pacman Jones and allow him to turn his life around, I would't be too oppose to that either.
