My Dad used to have a way of dealing with us kids when we told him that we wanted something... he'd lean down close to us, tell us to stick out our hands... when we did, he tap our right hand, and tell us to want in that hand, then he'd tap our left hand, and tell us to crap in that hand, then we'd see which hand filled up the quickest...

If PacMan was here right now, I'd use my Dad's schtick on him...

Your dad must have been a real jerk.

I am not familiar with Pacman's recent run in with the law, so I can't and won't pass judgement.

The NFL is a business. Jerry Jones is in the business of making money and to the best of his abilities, trying to field a great product.
Never a truer word been spoken

Adam Jones would be a definate upgrade over the unknowns we have at Cornerback in Dallas.

Dallas has also been a place of sanctuary, where guys like Keyshawn Johnson, Tank Jonhnson and Terrell Owens were able to seemingly turn over a new leaf, at least in the eyes of fans who viewed their acquisition with a questionable smirk.

Does values and ethics have a place in Pro Football? Yep, they sure do. However, if as GM Jerry Jones can reach out to Pacman Jones and allow him to turn his life around, I would't be too oppose to that either.
As fans, we may piss and bemoan, but if there were a team to do it, I could see Jerry as one of those who would at least take a looksee.

Will Pacman even be available for the 2008 season? Has he been re-instated? How will the pending stuff in Las Vegas effect his re-instatement?

All I got to say is he would be a great compliment to Newman and we would no longer have Fair Catch Crayton back on Punt returns......off the field.....meh...its risk vs reward. For the right price the risk would be right.
#32 is currently NOT assigned to anyone on the roster. Maybe being held open for a certain someone, huh Jerry? You 'ol rascal you. ;)

Hey character and integrity ain't working. It's time for a return to the old thug days of the 90s. At least those teams could win.

Iceman: You two really are cowboys.
Maverick: What's your problem, Kazanski?
Iceman: You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous.
Maverick: That's right! Ice... man. I am dangerous.

Whatever.

If we brought Pacman in and he returned a punt and an interception for touchdowns in the first game, you'd be jumping around the room like a cheerleader on meth.

Get off your High Horse and take a dip in the gutter with the rest of us plebs.

To make decisions based on emotions is to almost guarantee bad decisions.

The firing of Tom Landry set off almost the entire Cowboys fanbase, but in the end it was the right decision.

If we win w/ Pacman, doesn't that mean he's staying out of trouble cuz he's on the field playing?

Not necessarily... His troubles were OFF the field, not on the field.

You can win on the field and still be a turd off it.

LMAO at the end-justifies-the-means crowd...

Some of you must be taking some real beatings from fans of opposing teams.

No he has to be released from his holding cell before they can officially do so.

True but Pacman has constantly seen trouble with the law. Tenn knew that when they got him and hoped for change it did not happen. My biggest problem with Pacman is he shows no signs what so ever of changing. The day before he is too meet with Goodell regarding his suspension it gets reported he was at a strip club the same habit that continues to bite him. I’m not trying to be holier than thou but when a guy is in constant trouble and does nothing to change his life style then it is ridicules to think the end results will change.

Nobpdy is more skeptical of Pacman Jones than I am. The dude is a walking time bomb.

BUT (and there is always a "but" isn't there?)

Apparently the guy WANTS to be a Cowboy. He's been harshly punished for what he has done. And this franchise has set many precedents when it comes to taking "bad guys" and turning their lives around.

It's an interesting idea and I can't help but salivate at the idea of the guy in our secondary. Maybe a new setting and a new team would do it for this guy.

If he screws up again I'd be the first one to call for his head on a platter.
