Okay. I said I was done. I lied. :)

I disagree that she intentionally antagonised Sherman for her and the audience's benefit. She allowed herself to be caught offguard and verbally reacted as... well... practically anyone else would in that type of bombastic situation.

Who ELSE could he be talking about to anyone with an oz. of football sense who just observed the game? That's why he did the double take after she asked...like did you not watch the game? He did sound like guys in the locker room and that's what seemed so offensive. Sherman should've known better, but HE was caught in the moment. I agree he sounded odd/foolish but not because he was screaming, his trash talk sucked...

I think she wanted to go there once she saw where it WAS going... Lol... she rode that bronc'ing buck to the biggest story if Super Bowl 2 weeks!

I'm not a huge fan of any of the sideline reporters, but I'm accustomed to seeing Oliver on the sidelines.

The thing I don't like from her recently is that it almost seems like she's not enjoying her job anymore.

Yes, it's totally stupid to assume how someone feels. And it's totally hypocritical to hold that against someone else, because I don't enjoy my job either.

Maybe I just care about her? I don't know. Maybe I just don't want to see her become a joke. Go out on top, Pam.

I'd kinda like to see her take Jimmy or Terry's place at the desk.

If Pam Oliver is on her way out, I hope that she will impart some of the wisdom she has accumulated over two decades to Erin Andrews. The Richard Sherman interview was pathetic. How does anyone, who works as closely with athletes as these reporters do, not sense their temperment, especially after a crucial game? And after witnessing the physical play between Sherman and Michael Crabtree as the game ended?

I can still remember seeing the camera cut to Andrews and Sherman and immediately said uh oh to myself. That guy went off. And she looked as if he was going to punch her. Poor soul. Lesson learned I guess. Or at least I hope so for her sake down her professional road.

If by pathetic you mean incredibly awesome and entertaining then yes it was very pathetic.

I thought it was hilarious, but if I'm looking at it from professional viewpoint, her handling of it wasn't so good. She'll admit to thinking she could've handled it differently.

Who cares it has no baring on cowboys games if she's there or not asking the "tough" questions

I Love Jimmah and Turry

It's been my fav pre game show forever but I swear once in a while they are starting to look like grumpy old men. I don't know if Pam could fill the space of either one but she's earned the chance at least.

Curious...To those that think the sideline reporters randomly pick who they're interviewing. You DO realize there's a director in their ear TELLING them where to go and WHO to interview, right?

After all...who do you think keeps Pam from getting spooked when the final gun sounds, or keeps her from immediately whirling and trying to wander back to the stable?

Olver stated:

I agree that Sherman should have been interviewed. I disagree that it should have taken place that soon after the game had ended. There are emotions you can mold into a workable interview. I could be wrong, but I doubt Sherman would have gotten his emotions in check enough to focus solely on what he and his team had just accomplished.

There seemed to be very bad blood between him and Crabtree. My guess he would have immediately returned to his mini 'I owned Crabtree' rant as soon as Andrews tried to pull his attention away from his adversary. That was my take on it at least.

Sherman would have done the same thing regardless. He's not out of control. He's crafty and media savvy. He looked straight into the camera and delivered without swearing. He knew what he was doing.

I enjoy Erin Andrews. I think she is good at what she does. I think people just like giving her a hard time because she is pretty. If she had a regular face like Pam, I do not think she would be getting nearly as much flack as she gets.

Pam is also great at what she does. But, like someone above mentioned. In with the new, out with the old.

BTW, I think Erin handled the Sherman situation just fine. I loved seeing raw emotion from a player instead of the cookie cut answers. It was refreshing to see.
