Your right, they would have needed a touchdown to win it. However, with time still left to try and win the game...well, McChunky was blowing chunks...and because of all that fatty flab on Big Andy arms, he couldn't find his wrist watch to see how much time was left!

You know Mkyle sometimes you actual maintain a decent chat -- but the majority of the times your posts are filled with flames and names that take away from having a decent dialogue with you. We know you hate the Eagles; that's a given, but you actually block dialogue by your insulting methods and attempts to demonstrate that you're a dedicated Cowboys fan. Lighten up sometimes for the sake of giving a clear perspective.

Thanks for the compliment...but, you know what? I really, and I mean, really dont' care what you think about my posts! I'm not going to "lighten up"! Your the enemy of my enemy of my enemy of my enemy...or whatever!

I don't like the eagles, and I don't like anything associated with the eagles...so, I don't like you! How you like that logic? Now, if you were ever in an emergency situation, and you needed my help...I'll be there. But, until your loser team wins a SuperBowl, and EARNS my respect, I will not give it out freely...that's just my nature of being an Native American Navajo Indian!

Now, how's that for a clear perspective? :starspin

Quote from: MKYLE ...The past does not control the future, true! However, you can LEARN from the past, and make plans for a better future...which your losing team seems to not have done?

The (literacy is required on an internet message board) comment merely shows your frustration! Your scared...and you should be!

Mkyle, if it's true that one can LEARN from the past, take a look at your past posts. They're loaded with quips, flames and the very things that you reflect as showing fear! And perhaps it is YOU who is scared! if so ...

COME GET SOME Mkyle!

You're funny sometimes. Look closely at the dates depicted In your comical analogies ...

January 27, 1991 - post Superbowl (unvarified quote)
January 26, 1992 - post Superbowl (unvarified quote)
January 31, 1993 - post Superbowl (unvarified quote)
January 30, 1994 - post Superbowl (unvarified quote)
August 7, 2005 - pre-season (opinionated comment)

Good fictionary dialogue to make your point. I liked it -- I'd try soemthing like that mayself.:) Good try!
Obviously, sarcasm is lost on you. Also, 'the opinionated comment' is your own, but regardless of your viewpoint, it is not one which has been expressed by you alone--quoted or not.

I caught your drift DE -- laughed at it (denote by a smiley face in my post; which apparently you must have missed); then turned you analogy around on you -- you must have taken your sarcasm sun-glasses off!

Also, 'the opinionated comment' is your own,

FYI

You're really good at this Mkyle. I'll try to keep up with you.

Let's see you asked me where's Westbrook - I know you must be aware of his status so that's intended to be sarcastic; right? Good one! I'll get back to you tomorrow on that one.

Wouldn't you know the answer to that One also -- especially since your team was watching TV, watching him lose?! Yeah you're good alright!

Just FYI Mkyle -- you're right again ...it is embarrassing.

That's clear enough for me Mkyle.

Uhh, you forgot to include the :star: from my quote! See, it's these little things that eagle fans do, that annoy me!

Show me a SuperBowl win this year...and I will give you my full attention! Until then, "you are what you are"!

I'll admit, I left out the "star." Nothing personal Mkyle; after all what do you expect from what you've clearly described as the enemy of your enemy ...

Yeah, that's a great idea, put proving a point above the team. Glad you're not quarterbacking my team.
btw: The Eagles were Super Bowl contenders BEFORE Owens got there.

Yeah, the eagles were in NFC championships before Owens got there, but duce was helping out on O, and the eagles had it good with duce and westbrook. once staley left they didnt have the ability to wear down defense in close games, they couldnt get a lead and play ball control.

Now Pinkston is hurt too. In the past the team was winning with other players than TO, this is a different team now though and the some of the other players that had a lot to do with eagles success are not here.

Hoov, you're a very reasonable Cowboys fan Hoov; that's why I'm uncertain why you believe Duce Staley would such a huge contributing factor in the Eagles 2003 bid for the Big Game. If he had been, he may have still been with us now (There are plenty Eagle fans that love Duce -- I'm not one of them. Duce did not have the control on the ball the way a playmaker running back type should have had. Far too many critical Plays occurred where Duce came up short). After thinking about it, I just can't bring myself to agree that ..."once staley left they didnt have the ability to wear down defense in close games, they couldnt get a lead and play ball control."

Now Pinkston is hurt too [for your Information ...Duce is hurt too]. In the past the team was winning with other players than TO, this is a different team now though and the some of the other players that had a lot to do with eagles success are not here

Uncertain how these doom scenarios have a bearing on the Eagles ability to continue their successful efforts in a bid for another NFC Championship title; and ultimately the big game. You must have completely forgot about the Freddie Mitchell transition.

Hey Phoenix, thanks for the compliment.

Actually im not burying the eagles just yet..:)

My point is more along the lines of observing that over the last few years player personel has changed at wr, rb, db, lb, and now dlinemen. Yes the eagles made it to NFC championship now for several years in a row, 3 or 4 i cant remember right now. And TO was only here last year, but there were other players on eagles that are not here now so it is a different team, different team chemistry and i think the playbook changes some to allow for a teams strengths/weaknesses.

I feel that the eagles have to win passing the ball, which is normal for a wetscoast Offense. Westbrook and Moats combination doesnt strike me as one that will result in racking up the rushing yards week after week.

So if the eagles must pass to win, TO is more important this year....because after him the other wr's just dont excite me at all. Now westbrook is really like having another receiver cause he is so good in the passing game. still TO is going to have to be the guy now, the other guys are young, inexperienced and unproven.

In the past the eagles got by without a stud wr cause they had enough players that could do different things, guys that were good at one thing or another so they could be set in specific roles and be counted on to perform when their number was called. I think Duce was one of those guys, i remember him coming up big in several situations to keep the chains moving and he had a lot of heart. Maybe you are not fond of him, but i can remember many times when i thought a team had the eagles stopped and duce would get a 1st down.

And there are other players that were certain peices of the puzzle that have moved on or are injured so i would feel confident in stating that this year the eagles will need a good deal of production from TO, the guys that were go to guys in the past are gone, its TO and Westbrook. Now maybe LJ Smith steps it up this year, lets see.....

Hoov,

While that's true, the Eagles still have sufficient returning veterans and upcoming rookies (unproven) that I believe make them just as good as last year or even better. Here, take a look for yourself ...
