Parameters of Dak next contract

Just curious....what your take on the expected tag increase for QBs 2019? Did I calculate right using the top salaries for an average of around $28M? Sydla says, as a rule, it generally caps put at max around 2M.
It should be around 25m

It is the avg of 5 years so it lags behind the top guys by a couple million

On what planet is that good? Did you not just read the rest of my post? An 85 passer rating means you are likely one of the worst starting QBs statistically in today's NFL!!!! holy crap
Your ignorance of stats and rankings is very amusing

25th of all qualifying NFL QBs is GOOD

Dan Marino has a career rating of 86

Dak’s contract will be carefully thought out by Jerry and Stephen.
Like Bailey, fans will think Dak is overpaid by his first 3 years of performance, overpaid in first year or two, but then he will be locked up as a complete bargain for 2-3 more years.

Jerry wants to sign him before the market goes even more crazy with huge jumps on the way.

Your MISunderstanding of stats is hilarious.

25th of all Qualifying NFL QBs is NOT GOOD, holy god. There are 32? starting QBs which means you are only better than SEVEN of them.

Dan Marino played in an era of lower percentage, downfield passing attacks. For example, 1988 - only 3 passers had ratings of over 90, and if you had an 80 passer rating that meant you were top 10. In 2018, there are TWENTY FOUR starting QBs with a rating over 90. TEN QBs have a rating of over 100, including Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Tannehill. Do you think that they are good QBs? Because no one else does.

A rating in the mid 80s in 2018 means you are a struggling Matt Stafford, a Jameis Winston, an Alex Smith, or a Joe Flacco who was SO good that he got benched for a rookie.

I can't believe that in the year 2018, when sites like Pro Football Ref and even regular ol ESPN put every kind of stat in front of us and make it easily accessible, that you actually think a QB rating of 86 is the same as it was in the 80s and 90s. Hahaha wow the ignorance on display here is amazing.

cool story bro

So we'll still kicking around giving a guy that passed for 161 yards today 25 million dollars. So what are we going to put on the team's headstone:facepalm:

Two Division Titles in 3 years..... lets race to get rid of that 25 year old with a 96 Passer Rating
