"Herschel Walker" trade occurred in the last century, back when I recorded games on VCR tapes, before the salary cap, which means draft picks weren't as important back then.

You could get a low 1 this year from a team drafting in the 20's, and then their 1st next year, and have to hope they have a horrible year.

Unless the owner is going as well....it will not matter. Jerry role models the behavior you see from a lot of players. He has even suggested during negotiations that players give the team a hometown discount because playing for the Cowboys will raise the value (brand). So if that is encouraged/role modeled by the owner...why should we be shocked/upset when players mimic it? He is the biggest carnival barker in this circus. It's been that way...and with all the evidence suggesting his way is not working....nothing has changed.

It is no secret why he fades as the season goes on. He is misused as a full time DE going up against guys who outweigh him by 100+ pounds. Not to mention the constant double teams. He needs to play more as a linebacker than a DE.

Say what????? Every game he played in the second half of this past season his stock took a hit! He's not worth a 1st anymore, nobody is going to give up a 1st, let alone 2 1st picks for a one trick pony!
