unless you trade for a player.

then what?
Then you are in the same situation. What 1 player is better Micah with equal value that puts our team over the top.

The idea of trading him was to make the team better and creating salary cap space to fill obvious holes on the team.

If you can get 2+ first round pics and free up $30M in space it needs to be considered.

I vote that we do this team like that old movie Logan’s Run.

As soon as you have enough years that you’re coming off your rookie contract you should be cut. Let them go through waivers (carousel).

If you are strong, you win renewal!
Second Contracts are a lie!

Not sure he is on his own. It would come down to trade value.
Our fans are the weirdest, draft well but we NEVER wanna keep our own players lol that's wild. Then complain that we don't have any or sign any in FA lmao

Trade him for two firsts. It has to be done now. Every game he plays next season his draft stock will go down. Discussion.
So, you're saying we should always trade our best players for draft picks out of fear that if we wait we won't be able to trade them for as much?

Doesn't that mean we are without their services as great players to actually help the team win?

And what happens if those new draft picks turn out to be among the best players too? Do we then trade them before their trade value goes down?

At what point do we keep our best players to be our best players in an effort to build our best team?

We dem boys, so other teams HAVE to accept our ridiculous trade proposals.

Trade ti KC for Patrick Mahomes, 2 firsts, and then make the Jets throw in Sauce Gardner even though they get nothing

"Herschel Walker" trade occurred in the last century, back when I recorded games on VCR tapes, before the salary cap, which means draft picks weren't as important back then.

You could get a low 1 this year from a team drafting in the 20's, and then their 1st next year, and have to hope they have a horrible year.

That's the modern day value of Parsons
oh we have our own self-inflicted "Herschel Walker" situation with Dak. Dak's contract is worst than the Herchel Walker trade back then. Expect the same crap from Parsons and those players about to become FAs and /or that the Team need to extend, overpriced contracts with no trade, no tag clauses.... heeeere weee goooo

Similar to those who say "what is your play if you trade Dak", I will say to you, what is the plan to replace the amount of pass rush he brings?
Pass rusher can be replaced in free-agency-draft or trade. Quarterback-a good one-is a way harder deal to pull off. I wouldn't blink twice if we traded Parson. And you guys know I'm defense first. I feel very confident we could replace him at MLB easily. As well as a pass rusher. Just go get 2 good pass rushers. They will replace one great one. At least then when Micha doesn't show which is a lot. You still will have another pass rusher coming.

Extending a contract to someone who already has a contract, you are only competing with yourself.

I love Micah. My bigger concern is he is going to get injured playing DE FT undersized and getting double and triple teamed.

1. Move him back to LB and play DE on passing downs. Pro long his career.
2. Trade him and he get paid a lot to be on some else's injured reserve list.
I guarantee you that has never crossed Quinn's mind. Playing defensive end like he does is going to shorten his career by at least half a decade. And if they're not going to call holding then we need to put him somewhere where he's not neutralized, but I prefer we trade him because we're not going to be able pay all these players and he doesn't seem happy anyway. Whoever makes the mistake of hiring Quinn needs to trade for him. That would be perfect.

So I live in Fresno,Ca. Kalen Deboer was our coach at Fresno State before going to Washington. As soon as he changed his agent to Jimmy Sexton, I knew he was getting the Alabama job. Sexton represents every coach in the SEC. However, Sexton made sure that Steve Sarkisian(Texas) and Mike Norvell(Florida State) got extensions/new contracts before Deboer accepted the offer. He made both schools believe Alabama was interested knowing all along Deboer was getting the job.
