The Eagles DL is much stronger than the Cowboys, especially inside. Put Parsons on the Eagles and he will best Reddick's numbers by far. First, Reddick does not face double teams like Parson's does.

I am taking nothing away from Reddick, he has excellent quickness, but those DTs on the Eagles make the game much easier for him.

Absolutely. Even more so on a macro scale, to get from under Wentz’s abysmal deal (and profit from it incredibly), do a slight rebuild, to looking like perennial contenders for the next few years is impressive. I know they’d never in a million years let him go, but I’d take Howie as our GM if I had one wish for any type of coach/FO piece.

- i actually laughed Philly off when they went back through the losing once HC Doug Peterson crew was canned, only 2-3 years away from last winning a SB - even over the rare dynasty led Pat
- I laughed when once prized QB Wentz went on such a rapid decline such that the Eagles could not wait to get rid of him.
- They decided to choose WR Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson in the 1st round,.. and thought they returned to mortal planes for years to come.

- i thought 2nd rd pick Jalen Hurts who was never an accomplished NFL pure passer and would be a just a gimmick QB at best.
But both Hurts and the present coaches made remarkable improvements in his game. He's a legit dual threat as both runner and passer.

- Management overcame the Reagor disaster pick with drafting Devontae Smith and making the big trade for pro bowler WR AJ Brown.
Hurts was provided with a helluva upgrade weaponry on offense - where's our upgraded weaponry ?
Then comes the upgrades on Defense - Hasson Reddick, Chauncey Johnson and James Bradberry FA sign ons, ..the mid season.addition of vet DTs Suh and Joseph,
Reddick and Johnson with career years and first time Pro Bowl .

- We'll see what becomes of DT Jordan Davis, and if that's not enuff, Philly has manuever to get two first round picks, including a top 5 overall pick per NO Saints.

So you’d rather be the Raiders and Browns? Philly hasn’t won Jack yet.
Eh,... Didn't the Eagles win the Super Bowl in 2017 vs Brady/Belly Pats ?

When was the last time we came even close to sniffing another SB ? Over more than 2 decades ago,.. in the middle 90's ..?
And that includes zero NFC Conference Championship games since ...

You act like you're somehow confusing yourself. That's probably why you're not getting my point.
None of my comments and viewpoint discussion suggests Parsons will Not get paid when the contract time comes.
I'm not getting your point because YOU AREN'T MAKING ANY DAMN SENSE!! If you are going to have a point have it make sense which you didn't.

You said Come contract negotiation time .. it is. What is??? Like you thought you were making some great point or gotcha and you failed miserably.

Also Micah is going to get paid and stop comparing him to Robert freaking Quinn and DLaw. That even made less sense.

helps your edges when you have good DTs.

Parsons has been doing what he's been doing with less help.

Yep that does help - i dunno how DT Javon Hargrove got left off the 2023 Pro Bowl after producing 11 sacks, probably an alternate option for Jon Allen-Wash. .

Also helps when you have other DE edge rushers producing
- Brian Graham has 11 sacks
- Josh Sweat has 10 sacks

You don't want it to make sense,
And with all your ranting, antics. and caps shouts,, i'm not gonna continue to indulge in this kind of discussion exchange.
This seems like child's play.. It's better ways to go about discussion exchange than this. - Moving on ....

So you’d rather be the Raiders and Browns? Philly hasn’t won Jack yet. As stated Hargrove, Cox and Graham are FAs and will count 29m against their cap. Sanders and Scott are FAs, Seamalo and Kelce are FAs, Bradberry, Gardner-Johnson, Epps are FA, Kyzer White is a FA. That’s 3 of 4 starting DL, 2 of 4 starting secondary, a starting LB, 2 of 5 OL, and their top 2 RBs. And chances are good, if they do win it, Hurts agent (unless he’s a moron) will have him hold out for a new contract. They might want to hope that top 10 pick can play 6 positions!
They at least are trying have a title in the last decade … why are you so content with what has not worked the last 20 plus years ?

What does 2017 have to do with them having 3 players who will be FAs next season, that will count 29m on next years cap, despite the fact that they will be FAs?

As stated, there’s a difference between trying to sensibly and managing your roster like a 3 year old with an insatiable lust for instant gratification. Would you manage finances by gorging yourself on lobster on payday, knowing you’re going to have to eat ramen and raw potatoes for the rest of the month?

The whole point of this conversation was in reference to someone saying how wonderfully Philly managed their roster for this season. Just making the point, having 3 players for next season who will be URFA and still count 29m on next years cap is poor management. That comment is in reference to this season!

Lol, yes because, because the only way of improving a team is by managing it with the mentality of a spoiled child!

Reddick has superior help at every other position on the front 7. That matters. The only thing opposing offenses have to stop on the Dallas D is Micah. I guarantee if you put Micah with the rest of the Eagles front 7, he would get absolutely insane numbers. I love Reddick, he’s awesome and I went on record that this signing was huge for Philly, but not Micah.
