We know this young man loves football, he loves it so much that he'll continue to play through an injury. It's clear that he's not 100 percent healthy. I'm sure as always, in the summer they will tell us "Micah Parsons played with an injured leg since week 3!"

I love how they're using him sparingly, you don't do that if things were good, there's a reason why they're doing this. I think he's taking on a lot with these run plays, I'd almost like to see him at LB, then on long passing downs come in and rush the passer.

With rushing the passer that's becoming a drag as well. One of these offensive tackles are going to take his neck off before the season is over. He gets held every play!!!

I had a theory that the refs have to call things against Micah a certain way, as NBA refs did Shaquille Oneal! Shaq was a dominant force, refs had a hard time officiating him. You have Micah who has TOP speed going against slower individuals, I feel like they're giving up not calling holding on every play to kind of save the offensive tackle from looking bad.

I usually hate the bye weeks. But this time is cam at the right time.
They last 3 games it seems Micah has been getting gassed. But he it one of those rare players, that can still reach down inside and muster the strength and energy to keep going at a high level.
And that inspires the rest of the team to also give it that extra effort.

And that is the makings of a championship caliber defense, and team.

Get these players rested up, and all their injuries no matter how big or small healed. I wan them ready and hungry to feast on AR and the cheese heads, then the rest of the teams on the schedule.

Stop the drama. Parsons is the best defensive player in the NFL. Rest up over the biweek and get back to work!!!!

Damone Clark and Johnathon Hankins will give Parsons additional relief, once they get fully integrated into the starting lineup. Right now, the bye week will help to give Micah time to recover as much as humanly possible.

I think hes dealing with both a groin issue and a shoulder issue. He is just someone that only knows one speed. I like him rushing the passer but Id be ok if they let him play just LB a bit more so he doesnt get fooled with the run game.

The bye came at the perfect time here. It’s also a good time to start mixing it up with him again, meaning more blitzes up middle and more LB play IMO. I like when he gets moved all over.

THANK YOU EXACTLY, I wish they'd move him around from side to side especially where the TE isn't

Don't underestimate a groin injury. Those can take away both a mans agility and lower body strength. I just hope the bye week can get him back to 100%. Groins can take forever to heal, and while they have limited his snaps every rep he has taken just puts more stress on that groin.

I cant complain because they got Ws, but I would not have been against just shutting him down for Detroit or Chicago in order to be 100% after the bye.

I do like how the announcers make it a point to call out when he leaves the game and when he comes back in. You are in elite company when your participation in a play/series is about a announcer worthy as it would be for a quarterback on offense.

Don't forget Sam. I think when Sam is healthy I try to use him as DE as much as possible & let Parsons roam as a LBer. If Sam had been healthy yesterday, I think we could have let Parson's spy Fields & it could have taken away some of those Fields runs.

We need to reduce his beating as much as possible. On that note, what the hell was he doing in the game when we are up 20?

- Opposing OC's are gonna play chess with you with scheming against Parsons- if he's gonna be an off ball LB on early downs, then lets have several first downs with the more significant vertical passes
where he's not rushing the passer. The less Parsons is Not rushing the passer, and getting into the backfield, the better it works for the opposing teams.

- Plus not only is he dealing with various injuries, but teams are really devising block schemes, double teams and chip plays against him accordingly.
What makes it easier is Dlaw basically comes from the Left End side so Parsons is gonna likely gonna be coming right side, so that's make it easier to
note where he is likely to be coming from .. so they can adjust their anti-block scheme to that anticipated side,

- What is helping is the other guys, the surrounding guys .. Fowler, Armstrong, Williams, and Dlaw
Of course Quinn is gonna have to constantly devise and adjust and move around Parsons pass rush accordingly to avoid these block schemes vs him.
