They are just keeping him out for the good of the team and himself. Because you can guarantee he would be out there if it was up to him lol.

When that fumble happened and he picked it up, he was like chillin....I was yelling to run, then when he did, he was like a chicken with his head cut off bouncing off players holding the ball out there, I thought he was a running back...

Such a stupid post. He's fine, players get dinged up all the time, it's football. Didn't look too bad on the TD return.

Do we know what the shoulder injury is? Without knowing I think the groin still has to be the bigger concern

Yes...undersized rusher...takes its toll. Still kind of think he isn't in the greatest of shape.

Bye week couldn't come @ a better time.

Coogs, I pick up what you are laying down, but was Nick Buniconti, LT, Jack Lambert or Dick Butkus overplayed?

he’s young, healthy and all those other guys played with dings…..while Dak and Zeke are still here, let him do he thing

He needs to be playing a lot more linebacker.

He's getting double-teamed, he's hurting, and he's exhausted.

This times a million.

The Cowboys are going to try and ruin him by making him an undersized full time.

We know this young man loves football, he loves it so much that he'll continue to play through an injury. It's clear that he's not 100 percent healthy. I'm sure as always, in the summer they will tell us "Micah Parsons played with an injured leg since week 3!"

I love how they're using him sparingly, you don't do that if things were good, there's a reason why they're doing this. I think he's taking on a lot with these run plays, I'd almost like to see him at LB, then on long passing downs come in and rush the passer.

With rushing the passer that's becoming a drag as well. One of these offensive tackles are going to take his neck off before the season is over. He gets held every play!!!

I had a theory that the refs have to call things against Micah a certain way, as NBA refs did Shaquille Oneal! Shaq was a dominant force, refs had a hard time officiating him. You have Micah who has TOP speed going against slower individuals, I feel like they're giving up not calling holding on every play to kind of save the offensive tackle from looking bad.

Give your thoughts

No excuse for not calling holding. None. If that's the reason why then they need to go into nursing or dogwalking.

The NFLPA is a badly run organization and one of the worst aspects the owners have been allowed to get away with is the 17 game schedule . This sport should be 14 games MAX with a SB champ crowned mid Jan . This 17 game overkill has your star players in and out of DNP or IR with talent spread out over too many teams .

Chicago does not have an NFL caliber defense no sir . Eberflus and that new GM throwing talent like Quinn and Smith out the door instead of building around those pieces better draft wisely it’s terrible club .

The bye came at the perfect time here. It’s also a good time to start mixing it up with him again, meaning more blitzes up middle and more LB play IMO. I like when he gets moved all over.
Are you suggesting he cover up for LVE and other LBs too, now? If so, many may not love him as much, when the rookie contract is up.

I agree, they don't seem to be moving him around that much anymore - think thats a mistake.
Maybe the shoulder injury (I don't even know which shoulder) is causing him to only play on the right side?

They all need rest. And JJ and MM need to really send the video of these plays where Parsons is bent over backwards being held and refs aren’t calling it. There are many of these plays every game IMO.

He is so worn out that he is now asking for some snaps on offense?

Micah Parsons scored his first career touchdown on Sunday, returning a fumble 36 yards to help the Cowboys roll over the Bears in Week 7. Now he wants to taste the end zone again, this time on offense. Addressing reporters after the game, the second-year linebacker suggested he deserves some offensive reps moving forward, even proposing a "red-zone package" with the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year as a ball-carrier.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons wants offensive reps after scoring TD vs. Bears: 'Hopefully I get thrown in' - CBSSports.com

He is ding up a bit, nothing a bye week won't cure.

No he should be moved around like last year where teams can’t scheme against him. Lining him up at DE in one spot is wearing him out and teams are sometimes tripling him. He can play any position on the field, so use that to our advantage
