We'd best think again if some of us think MP isn't going to cost this team a generous contract when the time comes for that to be attended to. Let's bear that in mind, with the passage of time, for that to happen.

In the meantime, let's also hope Parson's body is able to sustain the workload he's absorbing. He's a rare gem. I'm quite certain he knows the damage that his work as a DE isn't sustainable over the long haul.

Offensive reps might relieve that to some extent. I'm sure he's wise enough to realize it. Whether the powers that be choose to grant such an unusual wish is yet to be seen. It's "thinking out of the box." In essence, it might allow him to contribute without being physically overtaxed by much bigger opposition. ;)

Parsons is more hype than substance. Jaylon Smith was just as good as this overrated LB we drafted. And cheaper too. Expect Parsons to take a few weeks off because he's soft.

Jaylon Smith was nowhere near the player that Parsons has proven to be. Parsons is anything but soft. It's too bad that Jaylon's injury prohibited him from performing as need be but that's simply one of the hardships of professional football in the NFL. It would be dutifully wise if our leadership avoids taxing Micah to excess.
