As I've said before I will still be a Cowboys fan I will root for them and I will support them and I will cheer for all of them Except for TO. But I will not buy any of their products or tickets as long as he is on the team. It will be my own little protest that will go completely unnoticed by the organization (unless there many more out there of like mind than I expect). But I will know and take comfort in the fact that I am not in any way contributing to TO.

I would put my shirts, caps, flags, cups, mugs, window stickers, license plates and covers, and anything with the star in storage until TO was off the team. I would root for the boys but NOT TO!!!!!!

Sorry but I never believed in that concept. As far as I'm concerned the Dallas Cowboys and any professional and college sports team owes their fans because without fans, the league doesn't exist. We make this league; they don't make us. Without us, it's a just a stupid little game and nothing more. We pay their bills by purchasing tickets, merchandise, all of the products that pay networks the rights to broadcast.

If I was Jerry Jones, I would care what my fans think and how I represent them. Maybe this is an old concept but in my eyes, there is a distinction between winning and winning with class. I don't want to win at the expense of harboring a pariah and something that stands for selfishness. By signing TO, you are condoning his past actions and are saying that you are okay with it.

I respect your opinon for wanting TO but I haven't written posts stating I think you are pathetic for desiring to win at any cost. That is my right to post that opinon as it is your right to post this thread. You can question my loyalty as a fan all you want, but I will question your character as a human being. I will never question another fan but I will offer a hearty defense such as this if any fan questions my loyalty to a team that I love.

I would still support the team but I wouldn't be happy with the decision as I wasn't when Jerry made Dave Campo the head coach for 3 years.

And also, I know that the Cowboys lost a lot of fans with the way Jones treated Landry.

To say we are pathetic when the owner of the team puts winning above team is a bit far fetched. I would say it is pathetic to try to win at any cost!

I get tired of people telling me whether I am a true fan or not. Who has appointed any person on this board to decide who is or who isn't a true fan? Who has appointed anybody on this board to decide the criteria for being a "true fan" of the Cowboys?

I have contacted the American Embassy when I have had to travel through Communist countries, to find out scores on the Cowboys when I wound up being interrogated for it. I suppose because some officials thought I was using some code to contact the American Government.

Unless you have been a staunch dyed-in-the-wool fan for 45 years then don't try to set any criteria to judge whether I am a "true fan" or not. I think that most who try to impose their definition of a "true fan" on others probably do good to be able to spell "true fan" much less set the criteria for one.

One more thing... Not putting up some protest to T.O. would be akin to trading away Randy White for Bill Romanowski, although on a much larger scale!! There's NEVER been a punk in the NFL like T.O.

Just as yours is speculation he will behave, At least I am going off of past history. We have seen this twice, We have seen your version exactly 0, zero, none, not gunna happen times before.

When makng an educated guess, its best to go by the subjects past history and project his future behavior patterns based off of what hes done in the past. Rarely does a cheatah change his spots. I have never known tthat to be true. But then TO is so Magnanomousthat he can do the impossible right?

Anything you walk away from shaking your head at isn't too smart from your perspective. Thats where I am coming from, my persepctive. I have learnt, when I post something contrary to someones opinion, I am silly, so tit for tat, when someone disagrees with my POV, they must too be silly.

I'm not speculating anything, all I have said is that if Parcells signs off on it, I will support it.

Parcells changed Keyshawns spots, Bryan Cox's spots, Glenn's spots, etc.

I have said I would rather win without him, but if Parcells brings him in, ... it's on !!

I must say that I am when reading posts about people not watching the Cowboys, putting their Dallas hats and calendars away, etc.

I am having fun with all of these TO threads.

I am not disagreesing with your opinion of TO.....I'm of the same opinion.

Fans have a right to think for themselves and form their own opinions .....if that happens to differ from ours that does not make them any less of a fan.

Calls out a teamate - who with that teammate had combined for 20 TD's in a less than 20 game span - that teammate who was playing with a sports hernia and bruised chest and not complaining one bit or drawing attention to himself.

A sports person who compared himself with Jesus Christ because of all the persecution he felt he was getting.

now, that is enough about TO - although there is just so much more:

On to The definition of Pathetic in Fandom:

Someone, who does not care who is on their team as long as they win games.

Does not care about their moral or ethical values as if it has no effect on society as a whole.

Will sacrifice any kind of team ethic for an increased chance to get another SB victory.

TO is an embarrassment - why on earth anyone would want him on their team defies any kind of logic. If you would like to continue to portray people who do not condone this behavior and would like it to be snuffed out in society - then that is your right - but your society will be very Pathetic
