Patrick Crayton Appreciation Thread...

Cute.

You're thoughts on the matter really, no longer, hold water to me. I've proven, pretty easily, that he was just as productive as practically every single #2 WR out there, and more productive than some teams #1 guy, and yet you're just still so blinded by the hatred of a bad game that you'll just continue to run your mouth endlessly.

I think th ethread is about PC running HIS mouth endlessly. He stated the Cowboys would meet the Patriots in AZ IF the Patriots were there. They were there but the Cowboys never made it out of the first playoff game.

This is only one of many examples of his "running his mouth endlessly." Then in the biggest game of the year, the playoff game, when everybody has to bring their A game, and has to step up and make the crucial plays, and prove they can play in pressure situations and he folded like an accordian.

If he had kept his mouth shut, his play would have been tough to swallow but a little more forgiving. Now it is reported he is saying that he will continue to run his mouth. I wish Larry Allen was on the team for one day and take him to the wood shed and maybe he would use a little wisdom. He brought on all of the brimstone on himself.

I still like Patrick very much. I hope he learned a lesson though.
I like Crayton too, but if I ever see him return another punt, I'm going to :puke:

If we go CB or RB early in the draft I'd like to see us get someone who is a dangerous return guy as well.

I'm with ya. I think Crayton is one of the better #3 WR's in the game. He definitely had a bad game, but who hasn't?

The timing of it all really kicked us in the bag though.

Do you think he is a Great number #3 WR and if he is what does that make Welker.

I like Welker as well. As for Crayton he played this past season pretty much as a #2 WR. Welker had the benefit of having vets like Moss and Stallworth where as we had TO and a young guy in Hurd so I think this is not a level comparison.
