Yes the peoples champion what a freakin loser...talk the talk but walk the walk.

also explain this to me. this was in the new mock draft thread

22. Dallas (Cleve - 10-6) - Mike Jenkins - CB - South Florida
The Cowboys have big problems at receiver and cornerback that could be addressed with two #1 picks.

and i'd like some posters to be more quiet in their postings also.

in the end, people are who they are and yelling about them online isn't going to change him.

I'm pretty much with you, Braveheart.

I wish Crayton would shut up, because I hate it when players talk big in the media no matter who they are. But as far as him being a player, he did far better than most people expected starting the whole year, and has been an outstanding contributor for a 7th round draft pick.

And just one more little thing... I keep seeing where people act like Crayton would have run 70 yards for a TD on that awful drop, when the truth is that a Giant would have tackled him after about 10 yards max.

Either way - he catches it, we don't punt, and McQuarters doesn't return it to the 40 or whatever...he deserves the ire he's getting now. There will be plenty of time for appreciating his contributions next season.

True. Except I can tell around here if the guy caught 100 passes for 1500 yards and 12 TDs he'd still be the biggest loser #2 WR that they've ever laid their eyes on.

I can't stand the guy.

Playing his worst game in the biggest game aside, I don't like someone who talks like that and doesn't have the talent or the pelts to back it up.

I know he was in there cause of Glenn's injury. Which is why I said he's a solid two but would have made a great 3.

But, people, think about where you WOULD HAVE BEEN in the regular season without him at 2. I can assure you if you lined Hurd up at 2 (And I like him a lot) that T.O. doesn't catch 15 Tds. He's have been lucky to get 10.

I'm not saying that there is no upgrade for PC at 2, cause there is. A 100% healthy Glenn would have been a far better 2. But those 13 wins, and that NFC East title that Dallas did get (And I know, no one is happy with that. It's always Superbowl or bust with fans) they most likely don't get if you have to go with a WR combination of T.O. and Hurd.

Whether it was Hurd or Crayton lining up, it does not effect Owens numbers at all. If you think teams were gameplanning for Crayton - well, I don't know what to say to you. Crayton got the man to man coverage all year - they would have stuck someone out there to cover Hurd too.

All in all, I'd be happier if Crayton had not signed that extension.

who is not a number 1 T.O?
he is arguable the top WR in the whole NFL....

PC is not a solid number 2 ..maybe a good number 3 maybe.. Ill still take alot of #3's over him anyday...

Why Im I constantly reading on these threads that we need another WR? Because we will not win in the playoffs with PC as our Number 2.

I don't agree with your statement that we cannot win with Crayton as a #2, because he would catch 49 of 50 of that one he dropped (because he does have very good hands)- I am confident of that.

One of the first things that BP said about Crayton was that the game was not too big for him.

For some reason, that playoff game was. But that is not the first time he has quit on a route - I think he has caused a couple of INt's doing that on slants if I remember correctly.

The drop is one thing but quitting on a play when he had 2 steps on the CB with 20 seconds to play I will never understand!!!!

and next year after he converts even more third downs, people will love him once more. most people have short memories.

really at this point i want o know whats causing our offense as a whole to swoon. this is the second year in a row where the offense gets worse while our defense gets better.

i dont know if its spagnola, or guys like Adams, williams and the like or what but this is a trend at this point.

But didn't all the offenses swoon in the playoffs? NE could not get it done. NY really did not have a consistent offense in the playoffs, Green Bays was nothing to write home about.

The fact of the matter is that after 16 games DC in the NFL figure out how to get it done against top offenses. It just comes down to execution at that point.

We did not execute!

It is what it is. Since the guy isn't Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, or Boldin that means he's a lousy two.

Again, I'll say it as i've said all along, he's a great number three and a good #2. I'd rather have him as a 3 but when he had to step in as a 2 this year he stepped in and produced very well. He produced as well, or better, than almost every single other teams number two. With the exceptions being Santonio Holmes in Pittsburgh, Boldin in Arizona, Johnson in Cincy (And, yes, Chad is still a #1 but it is what it is there), Reggie Wayne (who is usually a two but I don't really care what anyone wants to think about it this year he proved, by far, that he's easily a #1 with the numbers he put up without Harrison) in Indy, and Roy Williams of Detroit (whose actually the #1 guy and would have lead the team, I have no doubt, had he not been injured for the final 4 games).

So Crayton isn't one of those guys, it's a shame he's not, but my God. To think where we would have been in the regular season without him stepping in and doing so well is something I don't even care to think about.

That is your opinion, and I don't agree , Call me stupid childish I could care less what you call me.. I disagree ( and so do other cowboy fans not that that matters to me, about my opinion just stating a fact.) a great number 3 pulls through like Welker, not PC. So we can agree to disagree

You know how about we talk about Romo and how his accuracy went into the toilet in the final portion of the season including the Giants loss?

The drop sucked but Romo threw over half a dozen bad balls that game yet no one wants tot alk about that. Garrett abandoned a highly successful running game. Our oline turned into a sieve.

But hey lets blame the guy who dropped just as many balls as TO did that game.

Scapegoats are bad news to begin with but even worse when someone else is more to blame.

If you had those animals chasing you . I'm sure you would throw a couple of the beaten track , ask Tom Terrific

Yes you could be right but we sustain a critical drive and a first down...
