guilty of cheating with the videotape scandal.Team has until friday to respond. Rumor has it that The Pats will lose MULTIPLE draft picks. Sorry if this has already been posted and moved somewhere else. MODS feel free to move it if it's not appropriate here.

well if Wade Wilson can get a 5 game suspension and a 100K fine for using a legal substance and it was legal (just not permitted in the NFL) for impotence...than I would suggest a 5 year 1st round ban and a 10Mil salary cap reduction...I think that would be enough of an eye opener that it won't happen again

If they can link this to Belichick, I'm thinking that there is no way that Belichick should get less of a penalty than Wade Wilson got.

Actually, all of the Patriot coaches would knew of, or participated in, the cheating should get suspensions of some kind, IMO.

And if the Patriot have no coaching staff in their facility for the next 3 to 8 weeks, so be it.

But competitive balance is a central issue to the league - it'll be interesting to see if Goodell is willing to impose penalties that actually hurt the Patriots' chances to compete in future games.

Goodell really hates being lied to or someone trying to play him as a patsy. The Pats are trying to do both. BB better come clean right straight up or a half season suspension might just be coming. It would not suprise me to see the fine being a SALARY CAP FINE- now wouldn’t that be a kick to the nuts?
How about BB 8 game suspension, a 1 Million SALARY CAP FINE, and a loss of the first rd pick which in turn is given to the team most injured

my goodness what did Wade Wilson do that would give him an edge?

I'm telling you suspensions won't be enough...I was totally serious with my suggestion an no I don't think that it is even slightly too hard

not near hard enough...this was blatant and affected competiitive balance... the more I think about the more angry I get... I think my suggestion may be on the too lienent side...I think that perhaps a lifetime ban on BB in addition to my other suggestion would be about right...

that is a completely ridiculous idea, what did the jets do to gain such an advantage...come on i can see giving the jets a win but giving them an advantage that will last for 10+ years possibly?...no not going to happen.
How so? The Patriots might have benefitted THREE Superbowls from this. How can you not come down hard on them?

Oh no! Look at CBS cheating for the pats by showing the Jets defensive coaches!

this is what some guy said about the pic. I don't know if its true so take it for what its worth--

"Check out this picture from Sunday's game. Note the circled cameraman.

He has been verified as not working for CBS, not working for NFL Films (NFL Network), and not working for the Jets.

All the other cameramen are focused on the game. Why does he have a video camera pointed at the Jets' sideline while they are on defense?"

I dont get it, if you are going to try to video tape defensive coaches signaling in plays, then certainly there has to be a vantage point better than back and to the left of them and behind the players. Why not put a telephoto lens on them from the coaches box/press box? In the stands across the way?
