i guess you're missing the threads where there are a lot of comments denouncing the pats because of their cheating ways? haha

the pats have some positive aspects about their team despite the cheat cloud they are constantly under.

I didn't say they didn't. It's just odd on a Dallas Cowboy board. And constant bowing down and excuse making of the Patriots is disgusting.

agreed. i think we have a couple of posters around here who really love the patriots and either dont mind teams that cheat because everyone does it or feel pats don't cheat or that the pats aren't a cheating anomaly and shouldn't be ostracized. it reminds me of pete rose or lance armstrong.

Just like we have a couple posters with obsessive hatred and jealousy of the Patriots.

There isn't a single fan in this forum who wouldn't take the next 15 years for Dallas being identical to the past 15 years for New England, warts and all.

Between Montana's 2nd and 3rd Super Bowl Championships, in the playoffs he was 0-3 with per-game stats of:

15 for 29 (52% completion percentage), 168 yards, 0.00 Touchdowns with 1.33 Interceptions.

See? Cherry picking is fun!

Your sample set was Brady's playoff games from 2005 to 2013. The time period is (conveniently) the time period between his Super Bowl championships. That is the textbook definition of cherry picking.

It's actually really funny to watch your sad maneuverings. You are literally saying to us all: "Look everyone, if you take away all of Brady's stats from the 4 years he won the Super Bowl, then he is a poor quarterback!!! Only 7-5 in playoff games!!!"

Again, do you have any idea what your talking about when it comes to stats and normalization?

Are you seriously comparing 3 games of Montana in the play-offs, with 29 total throws close to comparable to the sub-set of data for Brady and his 7 years POST-Spygate compared to PRE-Spygate in terms of TD to INT ratio? Really?

Right. The OL is what has always give Brady time. When he's pressured, he's very average.

I saw an interview with BB awhile back. And he said, when he was coach for the Browns, he had a Superstar player, and a bunch of money wrapped up into that player. The player slacked and slacked off enough to effect the team and collected SuperStar payday.

He said he would never allow a player to hold an entire team and coaching staff "hostage" again....damaging young careers and other players playing hard , hustling and trying to improve and win.

And I think he developed a culture in NE around that vow. And it paid off....well, I think thats a big part of it.

Also, BB has a long long history as a great coach. Hands down the best right now, and will go down as one of the best ever. Thats what coaching and management can do. Take a hard working guy like amendola, who we cut, and start him, use him, and get him a SB Ring.

This "SuperStar" thing is over rated. Which is why I agree with what the FO is doing....Please, give me 2 first rounders and take the superstar salary .................... please!
