Denver will get Romo that ring, just like they got Ware and Manning those rings. It the long run it is ok because Zeke and co. are setting up for a run at multiple super bowls. What would suck is if Dallas and Denver meet in next years Superbowl and Romo beats the Boys for his first ring.

I'd be upset and happy at the same time. Hate that feeling

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not an open competition next year. People complained no one ever pushed Romo. Well that's because QBs at that level are hard to find. Now that you have it why not push Dak and best person win.

If reports are true, he's lighting up practice, I'm sure that doesn't go unnoticed. Meritocracy...

I think the odds are he will be released and a trade is probably just a dream. But sure would be nice to add a pick, especially from a team like the jets who will pick high in every round. But probably more of a dream than reality

Why do you think getting a pick for Romo is just a dream? Is it because the team will release him out of respect or because he has no trade value? If it's the former, that's very nice to think. If it's the latter, you're mental. Romo will garner a high draft pick, I promise you that.

I don't see Denver being a good option with that offensive line and their CAP situation.

To me the Jets make the most sense, they have a solid running game and good WRs.

Plus the Jets would be willing to pay for a quality QB.

Here's the thing. There are organizations that haven't won jack squat for a reason. It starts at the top and the Jets are run by circus clowns. It's Denver or bust.

A few reasons mainly his age, health and maybe the biggest one, his contract. On top of that he has to approve trade which lowers your options. Add the fact every team in the league knows we aren't gonna keep him as a backup.
The only hope of getting a decent trade is a couple of teams wanting him but the number of teams in a position where they are a qb away right now is a handful.
Romo can still play and if released he will be signed in no time. But signing him with a new contract and trading a pick and getting his contract is a different thing
It's possible, but not likely in my opinion

No way should they do that. I'm guessing the Cowboys don't want Romo to play in the NFC, and definitely not in the NFC East. Local radio here in DC spent a good hour yesterday talking about "If the skins don't re-sign Cousins, would you be open to bringing in Romo?" Ahhhhh!! My worst nightmare. No, no, no, no, no!

If Romo is leaving, please trade him to an AFC team. Thanks in advance Mr Jones!
i was listening to the same broadcast
