Yeah, he looked bad vs Auburn. Looked very good against Ole Miss.

He's a tough prospect to figure out. Talent-wise it's all there. So much of QBing is in between the ears. Interviews will be huge for him...as well as that blasted Wunderlich test. I hope Garrett sits with him in front of the film room.

If he comes here he needs to follow Romo everywhere. In two years we may see him light it up.

I'll pass on him but not Goff...I also like Wentz, Hackenberg and Hogan later in the draft.

Good comparison. This is what I want the Cowboys to do. When Green Bay did it with Favre and Rodgers, they had the benefit of Favre never missing games, so they didn't need to worry about having a vet backup.

Green Bay and Pittsburgh both benefitted greatly from letting Rodgers and Roethlisberger sit and learn.

Had those teams played them as rookies and threw them into the fire, I have zero doubt in my mind that they wouldn't be anywhere near as good as they've been.

I think that giving a QB time to sit and learn is incredibly important.

But the Steelers did throw Big Ben into the fire his rookie season.

There is that patten from previous drafts. If Goff has a great combine and
work outs I he heard they like their home town boy. Of course I dont know.

Your honestly is refreshing. I've noticed it not just here, but in other threads.
